Lukashenko did not sell his country to America and to the fucking mafia !

All these "democrats" need to be supressed !

  • @CCCPSovietSoldier

It must be awful for communists like you. You have to use a capitalist computer, a capitalist internet and post on a capitalist website :( poor you

  • @Oceandeep8 So whos to judge who is educated?

  • The last communistic enclave of Europe, the last stalinistic president of a european state: Lukaschenko! Just a shame for the old continent!

Guys, do not be stupid! These people are forced to play in such stupid "patriotic" shows and meanwhile the opposition is thrown in jail and youtube & facebook not available!!!

  • west propaganda

  • Glory to Lukaszenko!!! Real good president! Slawa Belarusi!

  • @Voljnyy He is what we call a tin pot banana republic dictator.

  • im russian decent and american i respect both so i love both countries the us and russia should be more along the lines of brothers the us and the motherland as one

  • Anti Belarussian propaganda

  • bealrussian red and white flag should be the flag and while the Belarussia flag is nice Victor Lukaskenko should be thrown in Prision in the Hage in the Netherlands

  • too be honest< Belarus is as bad as North Korea, so there's something positive

  • And from this perspective Belarus looks like a Kim Jong Il fairy tale land!

  • This kind of fascist crap makes me wanna break something!

  • 8:00 Guy looks like a hip Stalin.

  • Every dictatorship cries about western propaganda.

What they mean by that really, is, please stop bringing attention to our atrocities!

  • I like Belarus! damn man they got thier shit together! No monkey bussiness, You got Rules and you have to follow them, break the rules you get punished simple and clean.

  • LOL, at exactly the moment the narrator said there are few western cars in Minsk a Ford Sierra drove past.

  • people there are at least safe

  • @eulex10 YES, REALLY GOOD REMARK!!!

IS UK AS SAFE ON STREET IN THE EVENING AS BELARUS? ONE CAN BE STABBED TO DEATH AFTER 5 PM IN UK. BELARUSSIANS SURELY WOULD NEVER BELIVE THAT ITS HAPPENING IN THE COUNTRY OF GENTELMEN, THE UK....

  • You mean stolen by Russian billionaires. Every penny they have is stolen from the working people.

  • this country is so corrupt its insane...

ive been there twice and its crazy how little they can express themselves without being arrested by the KGB

im afraid to even write this comment...

  • @2113sammy ye, afraid! KGB is around!!! It's a paranoya baby.

  • This might be a nice place, but as an American, I see what these people are missing out on. Most people have nothing there and it's because the government has a stranglehold on freedon of anything. You can say communism of socialism is good but the reality is that it's not. Ukraine just did not know how Capitolism worked, therefore they messed it up for themselves. Considering how awesome the Unites States it, I would be doing my best to model my country after it.

  • Belarus is my country yet it is the best place ever!

  • @ExtraTerrestrials

    LOVE BELARUS!

  • Belarus is a nice place, Ok Lukashenka is an idiot, but I would hate to see this country lose what it has,

The reason he survives is because so many Belarusians don't want the west/east tug of war like what happened in Ukraine and watching that country go down the toilet, financially and economically. I can't really blame them.

  • Belarus appears to have the closest thing to a social democracy as far as I know after speaking to ordinary people of all ages who are quiet happy to keep Lukashenka. He has had political people locked up for accepting funds from foreign political investors and that's fair as fair can be. After all the last thing you want is other nations that don't understand your language or culture trying to invest in your countries politics for it's own capitalist gains.

  • Fair as hell man , if it was like that in Sweden by now we would have the entire goverment under lock and key and finally break free from Royal Administration.

  • vot pedik lukashenko, such a fucking duoche baggery!

    he is such a lair!

my family was "asked" to leave the country, or my dad was going to "vanish". we made the choice...

    He murders people!!!

  • 1.05-1.45 hahahaha... what an idiotic parade....

  • hehe, i'm afraid you're right !! even though i'm verry pro- Russia !!!!

  • fuck lukashenko.

  • The red and white flag has associations with WW2 Nazi collaboration, and that is one of the reasons it is banned.

  • and red and green symbolizes with commies and GULAG... i prefer nazi collaborators.

  • fuck the president!

  • Видео маец глупосты!

  • Buah, ¡western propaganda!

  • @nAnOhIspAnO Lol, really? That's an easy excuse.

  • How do you say "Ding Dong Ding Dong my cock is this long" in Belarusian?

  • Динг донг Динг донг мој курац је то дуго!!! Hahaha !! respect! mate !

  • Thank you. I was beginning to give up hope. Now I can impress all my lady friends.

  • Another EXTREMELY biased Western documentary, these lieing English journalists denounce anyone who refuses to be NATO's whore.

Why don't you Anglo-American propagandists go critisize Saudi Arabia? A theocratic dictatorship, and monarchy which beheads people in public....Oh I forgot, you guys kiss Saudi ass for their Oil.

The U.S and U.K have supported countless brutal dictators, world wide. Shah Pahlavi, Saddam Hussein, Batista, Trujillo, Mobutu, Pinochet...all good friends of the West.

  • @wnxsilence Pahlavi, Batista, Pinochet. They were good guys. The others were not, agreed.

  • @wnxsilence are you saying that Lukashenko is not a dictator? Or are you saying they should criticize other dictators as well?

  • @meathaxl0l My point wasn't about whether Lukashenko is a dictator, I was simply pointing out Western hypocrisy when it comes to the issue of "dictatorship." Countless brutal dictators have been supported by both the U.S and the West, they have even gone so far as to overthrow DEMOCRATIC governments and replace them WITH dictatorships when it serves their interests... Mossadeq, Arbenz, Allende etc etc. the list goes on of such examples...

  • @wnxsilence Have to agree with you there

  • their are no subtitles and that is a clear indication of PROPAGANDA.

  • dont talk shit. u scottish by the way. surely wi a name like shug

  • i am scottish my name is Murdo-Hugh Ross nickname is Shuggy in nordick it means god of the sea

  • Waah!

  • @shuggy1991 Their were no subtitles for the opposition in many points, either.

  • we Georgians fight for our freedom in 2003 and we made it !

now im happy cuz i live in freedom and democratic Georgia!. im happy that i live in freedom Georgia and not in ussr..

Belarus peoples u must united and fight to free ur country ! Russia cand do anything alone ! all Freedom world standing with us !

  • People of the Belarus !!! You will be free againg but you have to fight for the freedom !!! Greetings from Poland !!!

  • So rediculous people could get people to think languages, such as Belarussian,Ukrainian, and Moscovite Russian are much different.

Theres beeen BS like that of Croatian,Bosnian and Serbian.

  • i was there often . hunting in the woods lol. was quite fun but no mcdonalds in there lol

  • iv bin to Minsk and there is too a McDonald's there but it is not as popular as in U.S.A.

  • Also, the documentary contains facts that are simply not true as already mentioned here. For example, Belarussian being a 'dialect' of Ukranian. That is absolute nonsense. Belarussian belongs to a group of Slav languages ( Ukranian, Russian, Belarussian) the same way as German belongs to a group of Germanic languages ( Dutch, English, Afrikaans.)

I would suggests that before providing such information to such a big audience, ensure that what you present as FACTS are FACTS!

  • To the person who uploaded this video: please put the date the documentary was made which is as I understand 1998 in the title of the video, so people clearly see and understand that this is very much outdated. Belarus has its constrictions because of Lukashenko, but it is not as bad as the documentary represents it to be.

  • This "documentary" is a bit too one-sided for my liking.

  • Every post-communist country should do this.

  • Belarus, Europe´s last dictatorship?

Looks more like Europe´s last white country!

  • The 3 most FUCKED UP countries in Europe in no particular order...

    Belarus, Moldova, Transistria

  • its russias culture to have a a striks government that will lie to you and tell you they you live in a great country , "real" belorusyns dont wat to deal with this kind of crap, anyways lets leave the old soviet scums behind. with support from ukraine

  • fucked up country! a 16 year boy who must work in a labour camp???

  • How come the good people of JourneymanPics don't realize that not all people speak Belarusian? Please provide captions

  • easy for a rich people that have a computer to condem a whole country and leader in 1 comment, ive been to belarus, and my mom said it is less state opression then in the DDR, dont forget that eastern europe is poor, and only cause they dont want capitalists to claim the nation makes it a dictatorship, listen in the usa Al Gore had 75% of the people, but still lost to bush cause he didnt had enough choose-people(translated from dutch' so whats the fucking difference, nothing tbh( in politics)

  • What the heck?

The Belarussian is kind of a dialect of Russian, same with Ukrainian.

Što ispitati kritički? The Belarussian je ljubazno od dijalekta u ruskom, ukrajinskom s istim.

Что щеколду? Белорусской является своеобразным диалектом русского языка, с украинской же.

    Soviet era produce?

    Ha ha!

    Советскую эпоху производить? Ха ха!

  • I now belarusian language almost perfectly, It's totaly different language from russian.

  • Ха ха!

То есть, как говорят по-испански Испании и Латинской Америки, Испании полностью different.Heck, даже люди, которые говорят в первую очередь сербского обычно понимают русский язык.

  • Belarusian is an independant language not an Ukrainian dialect. In the union with Lithuania whole the country used Belarusian language. The first Bible in Eastern Europe was printed in BELARUSIAN.

  • Odd,cause Old English has many diffferent spellings and sounds than the commonly used American and British English, yet it is still English.

  • Belarusian and Russian is like comparing French and English if you know what I mean. It are both slavian languages but complete different.

  • Comment removed

  • Well that is what I mean it are different languages.

Ok like English and Flemish then, that is better example it are both germanic languages.

  • Belarussian,Ukrainian, and Russian are variations on the same language.

  • they r not that much different as U said.... Polish and russian are in different group's as well(PL is west Slavic,RUS East Slavic) but we can communicate with each other

  • I've been in Poland, it is very hard to communicate with them if you know Russian language. However with Belarusian language it is easier. Serbian is easy to understand.

  • interesting is it perhaps like swedish and norwegian where its similar but still to be understand?

  • "West" is still upset, because as Soviet Union broke up, they could not "buy" Belarus, unlike Ukraine.

Something has to be done, so they decided to introduce "Europe's last dictator" to try make Lukashenko look bad. This will continues until the greedy West realises that Lukashenko does NOT want to intake their so called "Democracy"

  • My friend Belarus is already bought. All the huge stores, industries are almost all property of Russian billionaires.

  • That's the point, you don't have to politically own something to govern, buying through the veil of business and commerce is enough to do the job.

  • What a joke to have a British reporter. England treats its skateboarders and vandals a bit too terribly itself.

  • If Belarus unites with Russia it would be a lot better. xD

  • No thanks.

  • From where do you know that boy?Do you live in Belarus?Don't talk cause you don't know..what are you saying..

  • Yes I live in Minsk.

  • ... and you call yourself independents?

  • Ah! I notice Andrei Sanakov has the EU flag draped on his wall - that is enough to make me lose all my sympathy with him. Long live Lukashenko! Fuck the neocon democracy fetishists! Byelarussians should be proud that their country isn't a just another bland globalist, coca-cola-land.

  • all hot guys reading this hit me up on MSN Messenger ID jane22fall im bored xD 1

  • Belarus is the seed of the next USSR!

  • Lukashenko own Belarus SSR?

  • i love lukashenko...he the best..long life to iran bielarus and venezuela

  • i am a belarussian and i also dont like luka for making belarus more commuist but i am ok about his idea about uniting belarus and russia

  • Do You speak Belarussian? Lukaszenko doesn't. He is president of B, and he doesn't speak B - how it is possible? It's shame for B culture, B nation, B country to have a person without basics of B-being at the top of tops.

  • Watch your mouth d i c k head I speak belarusian,my girlfriend most of my friends speak belarusian, my parents speak belarusian. And my kids will speak belarusian language. JAki zh ty idiot,bo belaruskaja mowa nayblizheyshaja da ukrainskay. Swaju ty mowu trash'm nazwau

  • Who cares.. its such a primitive language anyway! Besides, its dying and as a Ukrainian nationalist, I hope it and Russian goes away. Russian won't, but that nasty polish dialect - Belarussian will. Its already on the ENDANGERED LANGUAGES list!

  • There is no reason to be jealous of Belarussian language... jealousy can play dangerous games with your mind!!!

  • You just shown to me how "smart" you are!!!

His so called "Russian language" is half belarussian. He speaks in this unusual manner where he uses Russian and Belarussian languages combined when he speaks RUSSIAN! When he speaks Belarussian it's clean Belarussian!

    So Stop spreading myths!!!

  • Listen, this film is right on about the president of Belarus. We live in Russia and my wife in from Belarus. We visit Belarus and know what is going on there. Belarus is not free at all!

  • than we probably visit two different country because i am from Belarus also

  • Wow, man you blind....

  • Lukashenko is Russian/Belorussian hero that is 1 nation like Serbia nad Montenegro.

  • Long Live Lokashenko !

This Video is full of Western PROPAGANDA !

  • An absolutely crasse place to go. Went there to meet a chick some months ago and hated the fucking joint. Id love to see Lukashenko hiding in a bunker like Sadam. Then hang the twat!!

  • So. Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine have always been united. Russian Empire, Kieven Rus, and USSR. So why should they be divided now? Only the West favors Russia,Belarus, and Ukraine being independent.

  • Lukashenko is OK but when the Union of Russia and Belarus is formed Putin should be in charge with Lukashenko as Prime Minister.

    Long Live Putin.

  • When the union is formed Belarus will cease to be an independent country and will once again be at Moscow's mercy. Belarus should remain independent and it is up to the people living there to choose whatever form of government they want.

  • If something like that will happen we will made you another Chechenai on the western border

  • Lukashenko is awesome.

  • ya and at night every citizen is severely beaten and forced to work in the concentration camps...*sarcasm* I know Belarus isn't perfect nor any other country in the world, we still have a lot of things to do....however what they show in here is very "bias" trust me i live in Belarus and i know what i am talking

  • Soon you won't be living in Belarus. Prepare to become a citizen of the "Derzhavniy Soyuz Narodov". So will I cuz I'm currently living in Russia. I think Lukashenko is a great leader. Thanks to him Belarus builds great tractors the MTZ, and those big earthmover's The Belaz. While thanks to Putin Russia is once again making new powerful military tech such as new MBTs(T-95) Paratrooper vehicles(BMD 4) and bombs(the father of all bombs). Both Rus and Belarus will greatly contribute to the Union.

  • pfff, bunch of fucking loser hippies, sleeping in tents for more then 2 days of the protest...have fun being kicked dout of university, which is exactly what happend after u imbicile fucks got payed $20 by the UN to go to the protest.

  • I wish Luka was in charge in the U.K instead of that clown Gordon Brown who is trying his hardest to distroy Britain.

  • I can't believe lukash is still in power

  • Belarus independence is a hoax! It's really just a part of Russia. Belarus air force planes don't even have their own insignia-they carry Russian stars, as if they are part of the Russian air force. It's a shame, what Lukashenka has done. That man belongs in a cell in Guantanamo, and you can be assured, we Americans would love to free Belarus, and put him there! But Belarus is too close to Russia, and we are afraid of what Putin might do if we tried.

  • "That man belongs in a cell in Guantanamo"

    so do you

  • What have I done, that I deserve to be jailed at Guantanamo? Am I a terrorist? Am I a despot? Have I called Adolf Hitler my role model?

Do those brave protesters, who dared to march peacefully against Lukashenka, deserve to be beaten up by his police?

  • However zioln your drunks on the train was pretty funny I must say. However, Australian drunks seem to take better care of themselves than drunk people do over here.

  • What about the Belaus-Russia border. Aren't the Belarusans asserting their independence by maintaining their territorial integrity and marking their frontiers?

  • This film is ridiculous and shows a lack of understanding and disrespect of Belarus.

The reality is that Lukashenko is genuinely popular.

  • Everybody can become popular when there is censorship, telling the population in the countryside and the old people, that you really are popular and the opposition are a jerk of fools.

To see the newest documentary about Belarus and the rigged election in 2006 by Yuri Chashchevatsky (Kalinovski Square) just press my profile. The documentary is forbidden in Belarus and has been much inspired by Michael More's Fajrenheit 9/11. Make your own mind of Lukashenko.

  • Hitler and Stalin were genuinely popular too

  • People are saying that president Bush is stupid. I just watched a video of Lukashenko browbeating his underlings for underselling tractors, and I can say that I've not seen a politician more stupid than Lukashenko. I hope he realizes that.

  • It seemed like the lady was saying she has things good enough with her home farm that she doesnt need to spend wages on food. So her money can go to other things.

  • very little western cars:) Lol, I don't really remember about the 1998, but it's not true nowadays for sure:) There are rather no Russian or Soviet cars, I would say not more that 10%

  • This is typical western propaganda film. In Poland for instance in the 2007 year homless man was pursuited with national prosecutor warrant for talking negative thing about current president Kaczynski. Only after strong international pressure court has dismissed the accusation.....

  • China needs someone like Alexander Lukashenko!

  • The key word is ' rumor'...The Iraqi Shia wanted the blood of Hussein, and they got it.

  • Rumour has it that the Saddam execution video was a fake and that Saddam escaped to Belarus.

During 'Operation Iraqi Freedom', American intelligence agencies stated that Belarus was sheltering Saddam Hussein. The evidence for this was a cargo flight from Baghdad to the Belarusian capital of Minsk. The documentation for this flight was found after the capture of Baghdad airport in April 2003.

  • Reportedly a senior intelligence source said: "If you can think of anybody else who could obtain permission to fly out of Baghdad in the middle of a war, then please tell me."

Reportedly, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko was a friend to Saddam and a major military supplier to Saddam. Reportedly Saddam had thought about leaving Iraq and going to Belarus.

  • what it is like now?

  • Very similar to any dictatorial regime. The average wage has gone up to 340$ but the prices are higher than in the European Union, Ukraine or even moscow.

The economy is from fair to middling, despite the awkward policy Lukashenka so far enjoys 100$ for one cubic meter of rosian gas.

The regime holds a tight grip of the press freedom. No independent TV, only 2 papers that are spread from hand.

  • The gas bought from rosia is reexported to the west for european prices, thus making some 3-4% of the GDP.

It is still forbidden to appear with national symbols (red-white-red flag and "Chase" coat-of-arms).

KGB casually beats journalists, politicians, students, those who dared to speak belarusan wrong time...

  • All History schoolbooks were purged from "nationalistic" content (see the history of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania) and glorify soviet past, the great deeds of Lenin, Stalin... Lukashenka...

Those writers who dared to oppose the regime were removed from the National Writers Union, schoolbooks of Belarusan Literature.

  • People have had their brains so intensively washed that hate Europe and the US claiming them at times imperialists or, as the TV suggests, neo-fascists.

All you see on the TV is Lukashenka and the Belarusan economic and cultural progress. The West is all painted black as the hub of homosexuality, wantonness, militarism, imperialism, rule of money, social injustice...

  • sad..see people accuse the west and the USA of trying to impose their image on the world but is that so terrible if we try to make the world more like us? more like a liberal democracy?

  • Hmmm... Liberal democracy is just great.

Yet, who told you that doing good is easy?? I am an atheist, but as they say Christ was crucified not for evildoing, rather conversely.

And there are lots of other examples when it took people all their energy and at times lives to do their right cause.

We MUST be strong... and stay in our right mind. (any good cause can be hijacked and abused)

  • Yes, it is terrible and horrible because of western "teachings" poeple lost their jobs, their any sort of means of living. For instance, thanks to "democratic" opposition reforms in Belarus people in 1992 have being paid their wages in screws, nails and poptatoes and the share of employees' wages in GDP was only 15%. Now it is nearly 50%.

  • Democaracy, greek root demos- the people. Your government is made of people serving themselves. Your president treats his adversaries badly, as in no fly lists ect. The people of your country deserve better.

  • yeah sure, prices higher especially those for renting a flat or house, of gas, electricity, water and public transport. Man, I know you can hate non ultra capitalist systems, but you exaggerate.

  • Why are you doing this? As far as I know, half of belarussian homes is connected to 20 private cable networks transmitting over 100 foreign tv channels such as CNN, ABC, russion ones and Polish as well. Due to close proximity of Ukraine they all can watch Ukrainian tv as well on air.
