I too believe we should shift strategy to a support for a more stable Pakistan. We are chasing guys in mountain passes. Let them have their damned mountains: move to Pakistan...when they come out after the winter, turn Afganistan into a killing field with Bin Laden at the top of the tree. A guy who needs the medical care he needs is not in a mountain cave, he is in a medium sized city where they have a power and that is more than likely in Pakistan.

Wait.  Now Arianna is against the Afghan War? I thought during the past three years, like many others, was declaring that the "unjustified Iraq War" was taking away from the important war in Afghanistan. So, was Afghanistan only important when Iraq was the issue? I don't recall anyone saying "get out of Afghanistan" back then. Why now? Is it that whenever ANY war gets difficult she just declares "get out"?

Because its not a war for national defense its a war of aggression against a country that has never attacked us, just thugs not the country, so we should use our special forces kick some butt and peace out we should not be rebuilding that waste land.
