chuck colson was good little butt kisser wasn't he? nixon would reduce troops publicly (mainly because troops were openly defying officers. mutiny was rife. it was never reported but hundreds perhaps thousands of officers were killed by draftees by 1972-73, nixon and the military couldn't reveal these things or public support would sour big time. instead nixon would rely on massive bombing and targeting of civilians
