One thing that I did have a problem with was the phone constantly asking for the exchange server password, however this stopped once the update email was disabled.

@duenow1 Hey, saw your message when I used this vid to set mine up. I had the same issue.

My solution was to reboot the phone and then disable the 'What to sync > sync email: No'

Then just setting it to sync calendar and contacts (not tasks) and it worked a treat! Good luck!

after searching through dozens of nokia and google and independent sites, this finally clarified what I needed to do in order to just set up contacts and/or calendar syncing WITHOUT emails via Mail for Exchange on the e72. Many thanks! (only my personal opinion - music was a bit grating and could have done without :)

after repeating your instructions step by step over, and over, and over... something finally clicked and made it work. the only difference is that your calendar syncs almost instantaneously as opposed to mine which takes a long time to sync even though the sync setting is set to "always on". any input?

@AviCohenIDC Same here, it takes a minute or two to sync. I don't mind, I'll set it anyways to sync every 15 minutes to save battery.

hi thanks for posting this video up. I did exactly the same thing but there was no error message. All the mails did appear but the calender wasn't synced at all. Any idea what is the problem and how long did you wait before the error message popped up?
