To all the Dan haters there, he's not the same as out there. Yes, Kevin is amazing acoustic. He kicks dans ass, but with the sound that they have now, thanks to Dan, they are being projected far and above what Kevin did with the band. Actually I seem to like the new EB a lot more, even though I couldn't stomach the idea of them without Kevin at first. The couple of brand new songs they put out are simply amazing, the Parabelle stuff seems to be getting a little overly melodramatic for my tastes.

Kevin Matisyn was the best part of Evans Blue, IMO. His lyrics and their riffs marked significant changes in my life. They mean a lot to me. it's awesome that he joined Parabelle to unleash more of his talent.

I still remember the first hearing E.B. on 1 of the only true Alt. Rock stations in my area and desperately trying to identify the source. It was one of those shitty instances where the DJ failed to provide any info. Kevin having a unique voice and style similar to Maynard J.K.'s requires a bit of time to fully "grasp" (Meant as positive). The combo of that & radio static left me with only the word "cold" as a lead. Which is only used in about 200k other songs to sift through....OUCH!!!

I like Evans Blue without Kevin, but it's not the same. I didn't like Parabelle at first but it really grew on me. I'd love to see a collaboration with Brandon Saller (Atreyu's drummer and backup singer) and Kevin Matisyn.
