I'm from Warren, Mi. I like to think I know about the people there. After white flight, the majority of the population settled into this really materialistic self absorbed lifestyle. Most people there only care about how much money they make and how they can spend it. They generally spend way beyond there means and most of the education there was subpar.

Well, not only is money a big focus on peoples minds in Warren, but also many jobs are in the auto industry and become defensive about anything that will cause more issues in the industry. The area has really hit hard times with foreclosures and unemployment, so I have to agree with the fact that Obama's mind should be on more pressing matters.
