@sledfreaks His gun was on their near side. It was the volume on his portable radio being adjusted. Many officers will turn it way down if they have the lapel mic on their radio because if they use the radio in the car without it being turned down it about blows their ears out with the electrical feedback noice from the portable when they transmit radio traffic on the car radio. They will normally turn it up after getting out of the car.
