  • Helen: "Good idea George. Tom & I love to look through our family album"

Tom: "Oh yes, we have some great pictures!"

George: "They can't be that great, all ya'll pictures are black and white" LMAO.

  • Wow! The ending of this episode was unpredictable. Who would've guessed?

  • just read the guess star's it tell's you maxine was Duh!

  • Thank you for correcting me, I was given the wrong info. Wrong Josephine.

  • can you please find and upload the episode called the don't make preachers like that anymore . where florence gets here money stolen before they go on a trip with the choir

  • I luv this episode. Drama and comedy rolled up in a great message about unconditional love. Jason is phyne !! :-)

  • No one mentioned that Lousie's Sister is The Late Great - Josephine Baker . See the movie The Josephine Baker Story and read about her life.

  • @cubsodaclassic Wow, I just read all about her life. Thanks so much for enlightening me.

  • @cubsodaclassic I think you're mistaken here. The actress in this episode is Josephine Premice. Two different people. Josephine Baker has a lighter complexion than the actress featureed here. Look it up on the Internet Movie Database for confirmation, their birthdates and careers aren't the same.

  • @cubsodaclassic That is not Josephine Baker. Josephine Baker was much older and she looked nothing like this woman.

  • @josbo51715 And a whole lot "deader". This episode was from 1979 ( I remember it well) Josephine Baker had been dead some 4 years by that time.

  • @apictureofruit yea, that's str8 loyalty. That's what I'm talkin bout.

  • Seeing this now in my 50s melts my heart. All I remember was laughiing at funny lines and am only now appreciating quality of this series. His character was loud, but proud and in his way fought for his family. He was archie bunker's fraternal twin (ha ha ha). The show did successfully depict "making it" in an environment regardless of early class distinctions. It emphasized success through diligence and they strived to give their son a fine education etc. as Louise matured socially.

  • George just crack me up...

  • I so liked how George had Wzz's back! -3
