God bless all the Nonnas and Nonnos of the world. I know I really miss mine. My Nonna and Nonno weren't nearly as active in their last years as your Nonna, but they were pretty sharp like your Nonna! God bless you and your family. :)
What a great video! My (Italian) husband's Grandma passed away this morning at age 97. She was always so sweet to me and welcomed me (the only Irish blonde) into the family. She accepted my 2 childrren (from a previous marriage) as if they were one of her own great-grand children. I have been crying all day, but this video has made me look back fondly on her. It makes you realize that you should appreciate every moment with them and all their wisdom they have, for time on this earth is too short
awsome grandma i miss my italian grandma ,its so hard to find REAL italian food in usa most are counterfits ,italian wanabees,Treasure her and her ,recipies ,also Iam Starving for the real deal God BLESS YOU Grandma Jimmy C
GOD BLESS HER what a wonderful nonna reminds me of my little sicilian nonna here in australia, you look after your nonna ok. learn as much as you can they cook the best dont let those old recipes fade away. keep up the traditions CIAO e bouna fortuna a tutti from cumpare rocco here in australia. BRAVA SIGNORA BRAVA. god bless.
I'm sorry to hear her husband just died. I think cooking and you being around her, will help her heal. It is tough losing a spouse. Food looks delicious.
I think you should cook food for your gramma so she can take a break. I think you should now that you have watched her and know how she does it, b/c its important.she probably won't ask you to take care of her. You have to take the initiative. They are tuff these depression era grammas but appreciate it when you cook for them. trust me
time is ticken, shes counting it down with that nod.She lost a foot or two if shes your grams.Nice to see mama keeping busy.I'm 300,000 my times almost too!
Your grandma cracks me up. My grandma was like her too. She's been gone for about 20 years, but I can still her, say, "You don't have to measure it, just put it in your hand, you'll know if it's enough." And the tasting while cooking...Thanks for posting.
