Saw maiden on 4th july during the powerslave tour. Some jack ass threw a fire cracker on stage. The band stopped and Bruce did a stage dive right on top of the guy and beat the shit out of him. Got back onstage and went into the next song. That's metal, and that's how you handle a crowd.

I think they handled it very unprofessionally...move on and away, jam out, get away from the area and run around the stage. To just stand there and say, "Kill him" is just ridiculous...this is metal for crying out loud...you're going to have this kinda stuff! If you want to have a calm audience, sing Journey songs.

On the tours with Maiden, he sang beyond his natural register, singing the songs written for Bruce, which made him sound very strained and he couldn't reach the notes. He could do it pretty good at the audition, and that's why they hired him, but after a couple of months of touring he completely lost his voice.

Blaze was the right man for the job. Harris forced him to change his natural persona though, which wasn't his character. Look at Blaze in Wolfsbane, he wasa good time rocker. In Maiden he was forced to become a serious, brooding frontman, which never suited him. He fits right in here and is far more imposing than Bruce ever has been.

Personally, I will always love Maiden, especially from 1980 to 1986, when they were at their very best, which was very great indeed! 1. A couple of people in the front began to spit on Steve and Blaze. Both of them got very angry because the concert got ruined for all the thousand of real Iron Maiden fans in the arena. 2.The Trooper in standard tuning to high for Blaze bariton voice, and at this part of the tour his voice got strained and out of tune by singing songs out of his range for many months.

3. He is a fucking incredible singer on songs in his range, just check out his solo carrier instead of this horrible concert.
