If you felt the need for this bill, and I don't know that it was needed but they obviously did, you make the concessions to get it done and then fix the system when we are not in a crisis. I want 1 bill for one reason system without unrelated appropriations as bribes. Earmark spending is important to get federal money into local projects. It is this kind of abuse that kills me.

Why can't they just say it. Sometimes you have to take the bad with the good until you fix the system. If you felt the need for this bill, and I don't know that it was needed but they obviously did, you make the concessions to get it done and then fix the system when we are not in a crisis. I want 1 bill for one reason system without unrelated appropriations as bribes. Earmark spending is important to get federal money into local projects. It is this kind of abuse that kills me.

If you read the bill, you'll understand it will not fix the system. It's sealed the financial doom of this country. The 1st bill left Paulson in control with no oversight. Now there's way more in the bill and still insufficient oversight. There are so many tax breaks for buddies in that bill it's scary. Americans should be fuming over the bill. But, they'll just have to read it to see how it's not going to help anyone but big business. If you need credit now, you'll need it when this explodes.
