@tangledline I race. My amped up one and my buddy drives some Honda that looks like an accord but it has some custom build and eveything stomp corvettes, gay lil camaros, and impalas everytime. The only super challenge we have is this guy that drives an Aston-Martin. That motherfucker is fast and very well tuned. lol.

Either that Callaway wasn't trying or that C5 Z06 was modified!! LOL, thing was keeping up with the Roush and possibly beat it at the end.

This Roush had 577rwhp. Mine is the black Z06 seen at the right at the 13s mark. We all know each other. The Roush was beaten by mine with 481rwhp. After that the Roush and the other car he owned, a SuperSnake modded to well over 700rwhp, ended up for sale. Fact! Sorry, it's a beautiful car, just useless for the kind of racing we do.

my friend has an 89 Callaway that I've ridin in that'll put a stock roush to shame I just don't get it . Did you have your foot in it ? my 04 z06 stock would be a closer match to the roush .

@ccanndoit well that roush is a P-51 which they were under rated at 510 HP so it would be a good race either way but corvettes and mustangs two diff leagues

That P51B has to be modded to the hilt because your car is rated at 650/600 hp/tq 0-60 in 3.3 a top speed of 216 and 3350 weight. So I am thinking 550/500 to the wheels if not more because youa re at sea level and 3550 with driver and I must say this is not a good vid for a Callaway if you have a P51 and a C5 ZO6 beat you. I have a Vette and I am dumb founded. I was going to buy myself a Callaway as a graduation present for my PhD now its not even in contention. Good Luck

You are mistaken... Don't speak if u don't have all the facts. My car is not a C16... it's a 580... son it has 580 HP and 510 TQ... it has 470 whp and the roush has 480 and more or less the same torque... my torque at the wheels doesnt even compare... the C5 Z is scary fast and is moded enough... ;o) don't buy a callaway then... you're missing out. Drive one and you'll understand. It's not how fast you go, it;s how you go fast. Callaway is Callaway..... TRUST ME

First off I am not your son un poco de respecto proque yo ha ti no te eh faltado el respeto y soy un hombre educado con familia.Second your car weighs less and is still more aerodynamic than the P51. There fore the weight is and equalizer. Your Vette is one of the top Vettes sold it is an embarrassment. Since you have money for a  Callaway invest in some of that money in mods, apparently you need them.

I am extremely happy with my car and i plan to maintain it exactly as it is. If my car has SO MANY advantages like everyone says, why is the ROUSH faster then?because it has more power! Maybe the owner lied about the 480 or so whp and it may have 500+ go figure.I love callaway, mine runs 11's gives 30 MPG and is a hoot!! I'm happy... end of story. I don't want to offend anyone...but i get pissed because everyone thinks callaways are rockets,and there is always a faster car than you out there

WOW I would say this go back to Callaway and get a nice refund because I would NEVER put a video of a Callaway loosing to a Roush no matter it be a P51 or what ever. Playing around or not that was sorry. That Corvette had enough legs to hunt that Roush down even in those roads in Puerto Rico that I have driven my self and I would not put a car like a Corvette, mush less a Callaway or a modded Roush through that much punishment.

The Roush is modded... 477 whp. The C5 Z06 has just 401 whp (belive it or not) it has cam, full exhaust, intake, reflash. the camera car is my callaway 580 supercharged. It dynoed 467 whp.

Doesnt make sense for your car to have 580 to the engine and only 467 to the wheels thats over a 100 horse loss does not make any sense

@2010camaross it makes perfect sense... always figure roughly 20% drivetrain loss. If your engine is 400HP at the crank, expect around 320ish at the wheels
