  • So you have no need for the opinions of Generation X'ers that fit in between Millenials and Boomers? Major Phail.

  • its ok not to know the particulars of a given topic but to call it "loonsville" before you study it is irresponsible and you are in a position of misinforming the minds of people who are on the right track but they trust your information and expect that when you say "loonsville" you mean it based on knowledge or research. if you say Ron Paul is way off, you are not misinformed, you are unlearned. your job is to inform, you must learn before you speak or else you should speak more neutral.

  • i hope you look back at this and realize how crazy way out there you sound when you say, "i like his foreign policy but not his economic policy" do you really like the current state of our economy and if not do you know how it got to this point? maybe you just need to look at how it worked before these departments were built and why. for instance without the department of energy, solar will be prime in many states, now there is not one state where solar is primary. Corporate control GE???.

  • Ron Paul's domestic policies crazy? Really, Alyona? Really? Its about freaking time someone dismantle some of the federal government's departments..

  • Loonesville? This is why a 20 something year old shouldn't be voicing their opinion on a subject they know nothing about. Come back in 40 years, and maybe then I'll value your opinion.

  • Damn, Alyona's gonna get it after that "loonsville" comment

  • Ron Paul is the Answer!!

  • How long does it take for a primary's winner to be declared?

  • @halfstar3 yea she is lol

  • She's sexy.

  • Alyona...you need to study the Fed, fiat money and central banks run by crooks....then try tell me Ron Paul's economic view is moonsville.

  • Ron Paul is America's last hope of recovering....otherwise it's 3rd world poverty backed with dictatorship and martial law.

  • Alyona, please stop with your socialist agenda. Just ask your parents or grandparents how well the Soviet government took care of its people with their socialist "agencies". The answer to that is probably not that well since I see your parents packed their shit and moved here. Just remember Dr. Paul predicted our current state of economic crisis many years ago. Show a little respect to him in that regard. Due to this lack of respect, I must inform you my cock does not want to fuck you any more.

  • @InebriHATED1 The Soviet Union was a Socialistic state as Joe Lieberman is an Independent. The USSR was a tyrannical state that called itself Socialistic. And even I predicted the current state of our economic system years ago when Bush started economic policies which Ron Paul still believes in. I do give Paul credit for his opposition to the wars but that's as far as that goes. And I'm sure Alyona will be crying herself to sleep tonight over you.

  • @Crystals

USSR economy collapsed because their government was too big and was unflexible unlike capitalism and democracy. This is what we want to avoid. Welfare isn't a horrible thing on it's own, but if the gov't puts in policies that lead to higher prices across the board (healthcare, education, housing) then obviously it's not worth it because even the poor are paying more for less and in the case of student loans many have to pay off the debt directly as prices rise.

  • I'm extremely liberal, but I would vote for an honest Constitutionalist like Paul over a lying Corporatist like Obama. I disagree with Dr. Paul's positions on domestic policy, for the most part, but if he stops the stupid wars, our budget will be closer to being stable, which can help everyone. I don't know what he'll do to help create jobs, but since Obama's plan was a last minute patina that he never expected to pass, it can't be worse...

  • This is our last chance people. Get out and vote.

  • I'M COUNTING FIVE IDIOTS WHO DISLIKED THIS VIDEO.

THEY ARE ALWAYS SUCH A LAME MINORITY.

  • I've said it before and i'll sat it again; Paul/Kucinich!!! If those guy's got over their differences to work together it could set a precident for the rest of government and maybe even the nation and world! As it stands, it's the so called "wedge" social issues that make it imposible for liberals to stand behind Paul imo. Maybe some Republican Paul supporters don't see that as a bad thing, but you can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar.

  • @halfzombiehalfrobot From what RP has said in the past, I highly doubt he would ever consider running with Kucinich. In the '08 elections he & Ralph Nader appeared on an interview together, urging people vote for a third party but when asked if Paul would consider running w/Nader he said no (respectfully) b/c of their differences in policy. He sure sticks to his principles... but I'd love to see RP/Kucinich 2012 too!

  • @brigitfey That's the only way Ron Paul gets a vote from me. However, it'd have to be Kuchinich for Pres and Paul for VP.

  • @flawedbeauty82

I can try to convince you to vote Paul if you want ;).

What issues are most important to you?

  • @halfzombiehalfrobot

Paul/Kucinich would be an awesome show of bi-partisanship, but it only makes sense for foreign policy. I'm pretty sure most of the economic policies of Ron Paul, which is mostly changing our horrible central banking structure, are not policies Kucinich is very vocal about (although I haven't read the rest of his policies so maybe he would champion that as well). A VP should agree with most of what the candidate believes in.

  • @joshwhoisthatguy Kucinich's domestic policies besides legalizing marijuana are horrible. Pure collectivism

  • I had to watch this twice.

1st time - Wow these ladies are hot.... crap i missed everything they said.

2nd time - These is actually a good report/discussion and woot RP

  • Alyona: And economic martial law would not be loonsville? I mean really, do you have a better idea?

  • Ron Paul is all truth he has told the truth and warned people for the last 30 years he will be the next jfk don't forget he was the only one who truest to end the federal reserve

  • what is the difference between younger voters: women and independants? Are guys no longer alowed to vote in America 0.o

  • alyona ron paul is right on cutting social programs he wont kick them to the curb he will let them down easy the point is that the federal gov does things it does not have the right to do and ron wants to stop the war machine lets not slow him down

  • Ron paul is our best bet and thats that its a bet we could win or loose alot of people bet on obama and lost last time

  • @ls1tome36 Have you seen kathryn delong's video

"Very easy activism for Ron Paul"

it might seem like a small thing, but it's something anyone can do to help us win that bet.

  • The US spends 2 Billion per day in Libya, imagine if they spent 2 Billion per day in employing their own citizens. All poverty in the history of the United States would be solved in a matter of months.

  • At least this media is fair and not corrupt !Ron Paul is the Answer!

  • Fuck Ron Paul.

He's a pro life creationist who says that church-state separation is not mentioned in the constitution. Not only does he think that Creationism should be taught in schools, he would also let states declare their own theocracy if they wanted to.

  • @Averagegamer100 wtf he believes in separation of church and state you fucking idiot. Go to school.

  • @lilsm555 No he doesn't. He thinks that doesn't apply to the states, only the federal government.

He thinks the first amendment only applies to the federal government, not the individual states.

He would be dangerous as president.

  • @BrotherAlpha You are just spreading propaganda and no one is buying it because you are just talking shit or are just plain ignorant.

  • @lilsm555 No one is buying it? Ron Paul is polling at 10%, or less. More people dislike Ron Paul than will vote for him.

  • @BrotherAlpha Please present me with any recent valid poll showing Dr Paul below 10% in Iowa or NH.

And no, even in the most recent poll, Ron's Positives are still higher than his Negatives.

  • @BrotherAlpha I buy it. Guess that means I just proved your whole comment untrue.

  • @DJRavek How so? My argument is he's not going to win.

  • @BrotherAlpha Those polls are not accurate because when bloomberg did a fair poll to rub it in the biased mainstream media face who clearly hate ron paul because they are owned by the big cooperations, ron paul was in second place at 20%. Dont follow the main stream media hype homie. You should think before you comment.

  • @lilsm555 "Those polls are not accurate because..." they show Ron Paul will get crushed in the voting.

How much are you willing to bet Ron Paul will win?

  • @BrotherAlpha everyone knows the main stream media was treating him unfairly. They were called out by many people, they are bullshitter they remove the polls hes winning on and say he cant possibly be winning or make up a excuse then change them. Everyone knows the deal.

  • @lilsm555 So you admit Ron Paul isn't going to win.

I'm willing to bet Ron Paul won't get more than 20% in Iowa.

That he won't get more than 20% in New Hampshire.

That he won't get more than 10% in South Carolina.

That he won't get more than 10% in Florida.

    What are your predictions?

  • @BrotherAlpha

Ron Paul has a great Chance in Iowa, Romney won't win, Cain's finished, Gingrich is a threat but all of those affairs and lobbying is going to hurt him significantly.

The rest I'm not sure, but don't rule him out yet.

  • @joshwhoisthatguy I agree that Cain is done, but Romney is still polling ahead of Ron Paul in Iowa. Gingrich's lobbying record is already well known and it hasn't stopped him so far. In fact, which Cain gone, Gingrich's lead should increase substantially.

  • @BrotherAlpha How much do you want to wager on the 20 percent in Iowa?

  • @krisp8888 $25 to your favorite charity, as long as it's not religious / political... or PETA. Do you have a Kiva.org account?

  • @BrotherAlpha

He's still kind of a longshot, but he only gains supports, never loses anyone and has a steady increase. You have to admit he gets proportionally a smaller amount of time at debates, this means he can't get his message out. If he wins Iowa, which is fairly likely, more people will want to know about him which can raise is numbers nationally.

  • @joshwhoisthatguy Look at his numbers on RCP. He peaked at 9.8% but is now at 8%. He was as low as 6.3% just two months ago. You would expect his numbers to grow as undecideds make up their minds and the competition drops out, but that's not really happening here. He's just floating within his usual range of 6% to 8%.

  • @Averagegamer

No state would though, and his stances on Gay marriage/ Abortion are basically Obama's as far as policy goes. I completely understand your anger at his religious values ( I am too) but the rest of his policies are too good for me to not vote for him especially considering NO other candidate is talking about ending the wars, legalizing drugs, or significantly changing our central banking structure (AKA why we have huge deficits and and bailouts for rich 1% not 99%)

  • Does Alyona know what these Federal departments do? Nothing. So why put so much money into them? C'mon, do your homework.

  • I was in the military from 90-99 and I never understood any of our occupation during Desert storm and so on...alot of people dont remember we have been there for nearly 25 years maybe more....I talk my kids out of service because its mostly politics now.

  • @offenwrong

Thank you for your service, and good choice.

  • Ron Paul is gonna win Iowa on January 3rd, and that's gonna give him to push to win New Hampshire on January 10th. He will then go on to win the nomination and then kick Obama's ass in November. Real change is in the cards for 2012, just wait and see.

  • @FUTANTCOLLECTIVE How much do you want to bet?

  • @FUTANTCOLLECTIVE Great attitude & vision...thank you, I needed that!

  • Comment removed

  • all she had to say is she doesn't agree not call it loonsville so FUCK U ALYONA

  • President Obabma has done nothing but lie how dare you put him in with Ron Paul. Obama is a treasonous traitor and should be impeached.

  • I knew the blowback would be hard after Alyona disagreed with Ron Pauls economic policies. I agree she didn't have to use the word "loonsville" but I pretty much agree with her. Paul is great on civil liberties and foreign policy but economically, outside of shutting down the Fed, he is in fact dead wrong imho. And yes, some of his followers are almost cult like in their devotion, afraid to disagree with him on ANYTHING. That said hes the only person running for Prez worth respecting right now.

  • @newjack31622 Why do you think he is dead wrong? And if you can, tell us what is right? The thing is Ron Paul's follows Austrian economics which is opposed to the "mainstream" Keynesian economics that governments follow. While Keynesian economists didn't know the 2008 was coming, Ron Paul predicted it several years b4 And soon ofc a major dollar crisis is on the way. So actually try researching the man along with Peter Schiff, be before attempting to discredit him.

  • @Firetribez I'm not going to get into a deabte with you as there is a limit to what we can type here so I'll just say that "less regulations" is not always a good thing, its in fact part of why the economy is in the state its in. Also, part of the reason certain gov institutions "dont work" is not simply because they CANT but because of inherent corruption in our system. Finally, dont be a groupie. I knew some Ron Paul groupie would attack me for speaking my mind and simply disagreeing with Paul.

  • @newjack31622 I heard that same old story about "less regulation isn't good," yet the you have not explained to me how. I can give you examples of government externalities in farming, education, housing and energy caused by government intervention and regulation, but I see you have no interest in debate.

Lastly, You talk about corruption of the system but fail to see government is equally corrupt - politicians are bought and they are giving your money out to the corrupt.

  • @Firetribez I get it, you're a kool-aid drinking cult member who attacks anyone who does not agree with Ron Paul %100 like you. Despite my kind words about him being the only one worth respecting. Step back and take a look at your irrational reaction to simple disagreements. And I noticed you left the banking sector out of your list of things that regulations hurt. Not surprised.

  • @newjack31622 Geez thx for the name calling. I just wanted to hear your well thought out POV. Not once did I call you anything...but whatever. I'll leave you be.

  • @Firetribez You came at me first with this line-"I just wanted to hear a good explanation. It would definitely be a first". Mild sure but if you can dish it out you better be able to take it you disrespectful little boy.

  • @newjack31622 You shouldn't take it personally. Cos it's very common that people don't explain things like that. Well anyway, I'm sorry if I upset you. No hard feelings?

  • So having a difference of opinion is "attempting to discredit" him? Perhaps you missed the part where I typed "Ron Paul is the only person running for Prez worth respecting". Again though, you prove that some of Pauls followers are cult like in their devotion.

  • @newjack31622 Was saying "he is dead wrong" an opinion? I mean, we both agree stealing is "dead wrong", but that's not our opinion, it's the law. What I want to hear are facts about what makes Ron Paul wrong. I mean no offense, I just wanted to hear a good explanation. It would definitely be 1st...

  • @Firetribez Does it hurt your feelings that I dont agree with Paul on absolutely everything like you do? Grow the fuck up. I said I respected the guy but god forbid I fucking disagree with some of his economic views. You fucking groupie.

  • @newjack31622 if ron paul wants people to take him more seriously,he should cut all ties with peter schiff like yesterday.

  • Comment removed

  • Ron paul is a bit of both for me. He wants to end all wars...how can you true blue liberals not want that? Obama is a war hawk if we've ever had one...libya? Iraq, Afghanistan....

Every republican but Ron paul is a fucking end times war monger. Obama is a bankster puppet who is a campaigner more than a leader.

THE TRUTH IS WE HAVE NO GOOD OPTIONS and lets face it...Ron paul don't stand a chance.

  • WWII was a DRAFT, not a "volunteer military", not really the same thing. So in essence our "voluntary military" is growing.

  • Google: CFR, Trilateral Commission, & Bilderberg group. Then look at who's part of these groups.

  • Russia chic wants to get US out of the way militarily and wants to implode the american economy even faster. She might be on to something..

  • Obama is nothing more than Bush III: anti-sovereignty, pro-Gitmo, pro-Fed, pro - war on drugs, pro - war on terror, pro-tax, pro-regulation, pro - PATRIOT Act, anti-liberty. Ron Paul, 2012!

  • No doubt about it, Ron Paul has changed the landscape of American politics.

    Forever.

  • You've just lost all credibility with me, Alyona. Loonsville is an ignorant bimbo calling a brilliant patriot, doctor, and sage "loonsville".

  • @staceyski I wouldn't go that far. She's actually giving Ron Paul credit for everything and being fair towards him, unlike most of the media. With that said, I do disagree with the "Loonsville" comment, but I'm just disregarding it because she's still a great news analyst/journalist, and among the last who actually do their jobs right (hence my respect for her and RT in general).

  • @staceyski U MAD, BRO? Truth hurts.

  • @jawayetti yeah, the truth that our government is wasteful and raping its citizens and should be held accountable for their improprieties and malpractice? it does hurt... they ignore the constitution and decide they know more and need to perpetuate themselves and their power.

  • @staceyski you know what gets me about that is that the things RP wants to cut are relatively new. the country did fine without them for a LONG time PLUS we had the money spent on these programs in the 'bank'. her statement is like having 5 luxury cars and you're about to lose your house... and saying getting rid of your ferrarri's for a ford to save your house is loonsville. Not sure where that statement came from, but certainly not well thought out.

  • @gee100 'tis true. when your family is in debt, they have to make painful cuts... and hopefully they only have to make cuts that are emotionally painful. survival hierarchy always comes first. just wait, these people will be changing their tunes about big government when we're broke, food costs skyrocket and people starve, pensions and bank accounts suddenly "disappear"...

  • @staceyski yep, and by the time they realize they made a mistake it'll be too late. all the crazy stuff they thought we needed will already be in place and they will be able to 'lawfully' enslave all of us.. don't know why folks aren't foresightful enough to know the path we're on isn't good. in fact it doesn't take a lot of foresight to see that at all ! lol.. maybe it's all the fluoride in the water :)

  • @gee100 ...no one believes in the dollar, and the government taxes the people they helped throw out of their homes all so they can live in their crystal palaces. meanwhile, with your money, they're sending your kids to get blown up by fake "enemy combatants". what's looney to me is that this is all happening and the minions ask for more.

  • @staceyski ..and why folks can't see how orchestrated this is is also beyond me ! get you dependant on the govt programs to the point we fight amongst ourselves on their usefulness not realizing the bigger picture of we can't afford it and it's being used as an 'ownership of the people' tool.

  • @gee100 what is also scary is that all of these baby boomers are getting ready to retire and the goverment already gambled with and wasted the money they put into the system... Social Security demands growth. the replacement population is a lot smaller but will have the burden of paying into the system and the interest payments on the national debt.

  • @staceyski Ron Paul is a loon. Look at his policies.

  • @staceyski Name calling isn't cool. A lot of people go by what they are taught in the state-run education system, and we were probably the same.

Heck, I used to think FDR was the greatest president ever, but alternative history shows he was a disaster...

  • @staceyski She is right, though. Ron Paul's policies put in action here in the United States would only make matters worse. While I respect him very much, his solutions will only make our bad situation worse. No disrespect to him, but I think his ideas are merely an attempt to solve the problems, and not much more. While it could potentially be a step in the right direction, you cannot have a functioning "anarchist" society without some socialism involved-- and that's the step he won't take.

  • Comment removed

  • @jzosop15

Worse? Ending the wars and ending the 300+ unnecessary military bases in the world would be a start. The US spends more money on their military than all of the countries in the world combined. Like RT said, "it is a waste of our resources." 10 years in the Middle East is all that death worth it? 2 Billion per day spent in Libya, is that productive? You better wake up because if Ron Paul doesn't get presidency America will have to learn German because it will be Fascist police state.

  • @rm02px No, I should've specified my standings. I am in total agreement with his foreign policy, but his policy that he would enact here in America would not be good. I'm not a naive Obama cocksucking tool-- he's provided nothing but disappointment to me over and over again-- but similarly, I'm not going to compromise my common sense by simply taking every word that Ron Paul says and assuming that it's true. While he more credibility, his policies alone don't work!

  • @jzosop15

So basically you're going to use your "common sense" and not take every single word that Ron Paul says as "truth" because between him and all the candidates including Obama he is the only one to have credibility because he has voted and stood on his issues and never contradicted anything he has said? Not once? Versus everyone else who has said things, contradicted, lied and made secret deals? At least your using your "common sense" and not logic. Thank God for that.

  • @rm02px No but you're overlooking some very fundamental fallacies that some of his ideas contain. And thank you for your correction-- due to my lack of sleep, I somehow managed to write "common sense" instead of "logic," and I apologize for the inferred misconception. I'm not trying to debate that he's not perfectly capable of being a leader, or that he doesn't deserve the position based on his track record. However, he's sincerely wrong on some issues and that should be recognized.

  • @TheAlyonaShow Ron Pauls veiws have been called extreme and unconventional. But as compared to the other candidates... Ron Paul and Obama are the lesser of the evils. The other democratic candidate, I don't agree with him at all, and the other republican candidates have been up and down like a speed-dating session, and they're all crazy and questionable. Ron Paul is the only viable option. Plus, he wants to END THE FED!

  • I feel like the reason we don't see a lot of what the young people want by the media is because the younger generation like me have turned to alternative media. We are not who are viewing these boring display of lies and special interest.

  • get ready to leave the US if ron paul dont win

  • Getting rid of federal departments that are there just to put more nationwide regulation and that are obviously FAILING is loonsville? I wouldn't say so. I'm really surprised that she said the reason why the mainstream media isn't for some of these ideas is because of their age?.. I thought it was because they only say what is in the big corporations interest.

  • Only if by "millennials" you mean a) stoner republican rich kids, or b) liberals who fucking failed all economics and history courses

  • Alyona should actually RESEARCH Ron Paul's economic views before calling them "loonsville."

  • @ColdRainyNights Right! What's "loonsville" is keeping things as they are or continuing to spend money on big government when there is no money to spend.

  • Obama's 2012 slogan: I'm not as bad as that other guy! Once again, we'll be left with the democrats and the republicans as our choice because no one will vote for a third party. They say they will, but they won't. They either do the old lesser of two evils thing or they stay home. Not me. I will once again "waste my vote" on a third party. Ron Paul? Great foreign policy approach, insane domestic policy approach.

  • @alaskafido

"Insane" domestic policy is regulatory agencies with a revolving door to businesses. "Insane" domestic policy is a $700 billion federal bailout package in which you buy out toxic assets. "Insane" is an unelected, unaccountable body, the Federal Reserve, lending $16 trillion, according to the GAO, in secret, to private banks and foreign central banks at virtually 0% interest. "Insane" is warrantless wiretapping...continued under the current regime.

  • Ron Paul wouldn't do shit if he got elected. He also was against the civil rights legislation of the 60s. How is he for civil liberties?

  • @jsb06g Who do you recommend we vote for then?

  • @jsb06g You really should dig deeper in research of Ron Paul's civil liberties agenda. He wasn't against civil rights legislation at all. He simply said the government has no right to tell you who you can or can't do business with. As a business owner, it's your right to decide who you want to serve. If you are a bigot, then so be it. The government has no right to force you to do or be or do business however you wish, so long as you aren't physically harming someone.

  • @curiousinkling that's what civil rights legislation is,you dodo.

  • Old Peeple R Dum. jk jk

  • Not loonesville. To many EXTRA government jobs out there.

  • My only question is whether our parents and grandparents feel any sense of responsibility for what they've done to future generations. Do they feel any sense of regret? Or are old people like cyborgs, inhuman robots designed for selfish destruction?

In other news, at least public education funding and Pell Grants have been gutted so that some more of the baby boomer's best friends, CEO government cronies in large sinking-ship corporations can get golden parachutes and parting gifts.

  • @Redfingers Don't stereotype all of us older people into one group many of us old activists saw this coming decades ago .We however have been in the minority. We spoke up nobody listened! Not even my family !Believe me the corporation ceos are not my friends.I haven't trusted the government since Vietnam.Your educations even at the university level should be free.I've been a progressive all my life and refuse to take the blame for this shit. Ask your parents why they let this happen !

  • @420gma

I apologize for doing so, sir, and your story terrifies me.

I'm wondering if it will be this way in each successive generation. Suffice to say, the stewards of your generation have robbed my children's future.

  • @Redfingers The dumbing down of america has been a astonishing sucess ! I remember when our educational system was a model for the rest of the world. My dad worked on rockets and missles in the early space program with only two years of college as did many of the nasa engineers.Granted they were very bright to begin with.My point is the government and corporations can only be bad if you let them be.Just remember don't always believe what people tell you. Question Authority !

  • US debt is $15 trillion, the Fed bought half a trillion in US government bonds using magic money, politicians think they can pay off the elderly with this Paul Ryan plan in which they basically bribed seniors for their vote by saying people over 55 would see no change in benefits, so meanwhile my pension account, my social security, my medicare is going to implode while these people suck the last drop of blood out of the corpse of America.

  • Old people are retarded. I can't wait til their cartel over the system dies off and we can reclaim our country.

They have been raping us for years. My asshole is chafing.

  • @Redfingers The ableism and ageism you exhibited in your comment is alarming.

  • @flawedbeauty82

Alarming? I've seen a lot of alarming shit with regards to our political system lately and the way people vote.

The only conclusion I can come up with is that people are retarded, en masse, to a degree almost nobody realized before. The degree of irrationality and absurdity in our political system is difficult to qualify, and really difficult to underestimate, and, frankly, with all the people killed and all the tragedy caused...should I pussyfoot around it?
