  • Great !

  • I have this track on 45 vinyl....Knicked it from my mom....my mom had good taste....

  • Watching this video I can see why he never was in the same league as Tom Jones! His voice is very good but his carisma and stage presence is kind of lame while Tom Jones was a sexual hurricane on stage! I like both though!

  • @engeaddict Have you ever heard of Leonard Nimoy? He is charming, sensual, funny, ..... . His voice is also very, very good (better, believe me). Listen to I'd Love Making Love to You or Ruby, don't ake your love to town. Then watch a few videos with him, for example Mission: Impossible "My friend, my enemy". I'm quite sure that in a few days you will be a big Leonard Nimoy fan!

  • Love this guys rich voice!!

  • great stuff i love it peace

  • Anyone know where l can find the lyrics to his 1969 song If God is on my side. Better still, a video. Thanks.

  • I'm from different generation, but maybe i fell sad that i didn't live in those years

  • ..he had a better voice than Tom Jones......just lacked the charisma.....

  • Gosh great memories. Fabulous talented man. wow.

  • @engeaddict

    You're very welcome. I'm glad you're enjoying this :-))

  • Sugardaddy Tony know what women want :P

  • i play tony christie when im driving my classic mini cooper around! its the perfect music for the perfect car!....hes fanatastic!

  • Do it, Tony!

  • 00:57 ROFL !!!

he sing "one night" and shows 2 fingers an then realizes he messed up sooo goood! EPIC FAIL :D

  • @DainRouer He knew what he was doin. The ladies love it, man!

  • @shatchett0 your'e right,sure do love this one!

  • I want to go back!

  • Great voice. Those high notes is so strong.

  • What a voice-every bit as good as Tom Jones!

  • Christie had a great voice...but he was not a natural live performer. He is reminiscent of a dad at a wedding in all the live clips I've watched.

  • I saw him in concert last year and although he looked old, he still had the most awesome voice! Just like listening to his records.

  • i fliping love this song go tc dont go down to reno

  • TC is top class ! Great voice and love the dancing ! thanks for sharing.

  • Great voice

  • Sheffield rules!!!!top yorky geezer!!!!

  • looks like he had a couple of drinks before performing :))

  • this songs is about to make my poor brain explode when i look back at the old days i miss that night when i took a walk through streets of berlin at night

  • I've been looking for years for ....You just don't have the magic anymore.

    Can anyone help me please?

    Dot

  • If he were a used-car salesman I'd buy the first car he showed me. Hell, I'd buy it without even looking at it.

  • This has always been one of Tony Christie's best songs in my opinion but it's also one you don't hear played that much.

    Thanks for this clip!

  • this guy is an absolute legend

  • @baghdadfc you are right, he deserves a higher status than TJ, AH etc...

the only reason that he did not get that is that he is "serious" and people generally like "entertaining" songs/ music rather than his tragic work....

    THIS is FABULOUS. AH

  • i 1st got into tony christie when i heard max and paddy on phoenix nights singing amerillo, i askedmy mum who sung it so i bought an album and lvoed him from then.

  • thanks for the advise, drive safely darlin is indeed a pretty song too.

  • I had never heard this singer , he sounds kind like Tom Jones, I love this song, it is catchy, he has nice voice.

  • what you've never hard of tony christi !?! anyway if you like this one then check out "drive safely darlin'" i love that song and this

  • Try Avenues and alleyways and Las vegas, Classic

  • agree

  • Yea, I thought so too / sounds like Tom Jones, but in the style of Gene Pitney.

  • einfach klasse

  • 0.59 - is that 1 or 2?

  • He seemed to be confused, too...

  • Very seventies alright, hair, platforms flairs, the moves, all of that - but I always knew this guy could sing...(looks like he's lip sincing here though),not sure why he wasn't as big as Tom Jones, certainly has the talent and the pizzaz...is anyone else getting the fuzzy picture in the middle interference?

Funnilly enough, I never really went for this song at the time, but listening now, this really is good shit. Changes, lyrics...hey hey, how about we all "Bring back Tony!" Ciao :-)

  • yes I am getting the fuzzy piture to.
