Correction: Ted has made at least 2 all-time classics, his self-titled debut (incl. 'Stranglehold') and 'Double Live Gonzo'. 'Free For All' was also very good and the rest of his 70's output was at least solid. Slash was part of 1 absolute classic, 'Appetite For Destruction' - and he hasn't come close to it ever again whether it was with G'NR, Snakepit or Velvet Revolver.

Well, Ted isn't exactly prog rock but there are parts in say 'Great White Buffalo', like the fast semi-country picking licks, that are definitely harder than anything in 'Paradise City'.  As far as Slash breezing thru 'Cat Scratch Fever' - that song is as basic as it gets. It would be pretty pathetic if a pro guitarist couldn't breeze thru that. Your hard-on for Slash is pretty comical, dude - you must be at a beginner's level if you think what Slash does on guitar is this amazing feat.
