@AirsoftLouisiana u need to get a program like xfire or gamespy gives you lots of severs with people in XD

@AirsoftLouisiana download HyperLobby. it is program free for download. then u have to upgrade u r IL-2 to latest version, u can also find all patches on internet. just use google searcher. if u have some problems in installation, go to HyperLobby after instalation and talk to people in chat there. All are always happy to help.

I don't know, that version u have. As i can see, latest patch about v.1.22. Probably u need patch for english version - then check Ubisoft site. I find patch for russian version here, may be It will be useful for ya:

either the left or right corner its a text like v1.2 or something like that but i think u should get1946 i got it for 10 euro on steam whit the latest patch on it so just to go online and play it got more planes it got Spits and such and jets and all the planes in the games before it

get il2 sturmovik 1946 its better and its LOTS of ppl playing it online download it from steam for 10 dollars and u can start playing as soon as its done its the right patch and all and to find servers get hyperlobby easy to find servers whit and its like 100 servers up all the time so not hard to find some place to play on =)

well its the same game as fb i had fb for a long time i got 1946 just some days ago its more planes more campains more plases to be in and its RLY fun that u can play it online cus no1 was playing fb online but its like 400 ppl online everytime i go online

the company shut down servers and now theres something called xfire it gets u online with il2 and hyper lobby but they dont support 1945

Yeah, the whole cockpit hiding thing isn't too hardcore, but I can't fly that well in that game, anyways, and I wouldn't dare try my luck at multiplayer!
