  • Omfg ;D I love them both!

  • God, I'm so hot for Crispy.

  • ...all for sport too, I see Kevin Costner cry when the buffalo die.

  • these two are great together

  • Every time I watch crispin glover in a film, I try to like it but his acting just seems...empty.

  • @GQube3 that's a great way to describe it. Empty.

  • @bryanmessina no actually it isnt....Glover is unique and a treasure...appreciated by those who well...like creative edgy humor and perspective!! like minded I suppose...

  • @GQube3 it's his voice. its not a bad thing, it just plays differently for different roles.

  • @GQube3 youre without vision..he is dope as fuck!

  • @GQube3 Die in a fire!

  • @Kjostvedt Wow a fire? You couldn't be more creative...?

  • yup the best of the best!

  • excellent film, own it, love it.

  • I wouldn't know because, uh, I don't reads.

  • My two all-time favorite people in the movie business.

  • "Looook out ta win-dough"

  • Looook out ta win-dough.

At least Glover is the least weird thing in this lovely film.

  • lol, "Yes she did..."

  • Johnny Depp and Crispin Glover?!

    Kidin' me.

    Gotta watch it. NOW.

  • Crispin - underrated

    Johnny - overrated

  • These two were reunited in Alice in Wonderland! Great combo!

  • I'm trying to laugh but at the same time I'm slowly inching away from my computer.

  • Look, they are shoo-ting buffalo.

  • the double negatives are just hilarious

  • What a pair!!

  • Tom DeLong looks and sounds like Crispin

  • I love how Crispen over articulates all his words while at the same time talks in a mash-up of double and triple negatives... I'd say that he's trying to appear educated, but he so freely admits that he's illiterate that he obviously doesn't care what other people think about his education.

  • Johnny Depp the weirdo is weirded-out by a greater weirdo who is the weirdest weirdo in the whole of tinsel town. This is like meeting your own nemesis. Neither are acting. One is trying to keep a straight face and not laugh at the black-faced lunatic-cum-actor feeding him nonsense. Weird.

  • Also, notice the same principle applies to the opening scenes -- the landscape appears to be rushing past the stationary train carriage.

  • Crispin Glover is underrated!

  • Are these weirdos friends in real life?

  • I couldn't decide between the two because I love em both

    ^_^

  • "Look they're shooting buffalo" lol

  • His voice is so perfect here.

  • mmmm i'd love a threesome lol.

  • i love how johnny depps so innocent-looking in this scene

  • Crispin Glover in blackface!? Never found this!

  • Crispin Glover and Johnny Depp *sighs* <33

  • "...one thing for sure, I wouldn't trust no words written down on no paper, especially from no Dickenson out in the town of Machine."

  • Johnny Depp looks so innocent here <3

  • And they are both in Tim Burton's Alice

  • This is so great. Two of my favourite male actors(and might I add very sexy as well) in the same movie! Awsome clip thank you so much for uploading it:)

  • Assholes, shooting buffalo.

  • and the water in your head was not dissimilar from the landscape

  • i love these 2 together!

  • wtf is on his face?

  • @MovieFreak555 Coal!

  • @MovieFreak555

    pooo

  • @MovieFreak555 duh..he works the coal in the train!!! what kind of movie freak are u????

  • @dawnatilla No need to be a d**k, man. I just asked a question about a movie I have never seen. So step off

  • @MovieFreak555 lol okay my bad!!! i apologise ..:)

  • @MovieFreak555 Soot!

  • what is on Crispin Glover's face? or am i just being stupid? o.O

  • @jakkapakka it's ash, he's the fire man (guy who feeds the furnace) on the train

  • @ajkl27 ahhhhh thankyou =)

  • Crispin is so intense and Johnny is so insecure and anxiety ridden...it's a great scene :)

  • @marekstob They were in What's Eating Gilbert Grape as well

  • what movie is this? I must watch!

  • @4getfulness16 It's called Dead Man.

  • @NobodobodoN awesome, thanks :)

  • is youtube malfunctioning or something?

Because I keep trying to favorite this and it says it's been put into my favorites but then I look and it isn't there =(

  • Crispin Glover was just beautiful in this scene, that bit he does right at the begining about being in a boat is down right poetic, and I love his eyes and hands through the whole thing and how the fact that he's covered in coal brings out his eyes. I could watch this over and over and never get bored. *sigh* <3

  • @FilleCosmique hahaha totally, this scene is the best one in the film IMHO!

  • LOL!!

    THey were both Willy Wonka!

    AND both in "Gilbert Grape"

  • ...look they're shooting buffalo...

  • i honestly love this movie.... its practically the best cult movie ive seen as well as the crow. wat does he mean 0:24 secs onward... wat does he mean??

  • IDK, but it's beautiful.

  • @sam3224 foreshadowing... he dies in the boat - "looking at the ceiling"

  • @sam3224 Immigrating to America, I'd assume....Or just being on any boat.

  • @bryanmessina omg have neithe r of u seen th e movie? he is prophesying about when Depp is dying in the boat at the end of the movie!!!!! knock knock!!!!!!

  • @sam3224 its foreshadowing to his death and ferry to the 'other side' (hear the music @ "thats the end of the line") at the end of the movie.

  • @sam3224 Do his words not remind you of anything... something that occurs much later in the film perhaps, a voyage of discovery?

  • @sam3224 what movie is this??

  • @sam3224 If you're wondering what Crispin Glover means by the boat, it's all foreshadowing. He's referring to the scene towards the end of the film where Johnny Depp is lying in the boat and you're looking down at him and you can't tell if the water is moving or the boat is moving. A little bit of frontier theory of relativity, if you will :-)

  • @sam3224

***SPOILER ALERT***: He's foreshadowing what happens later in the movie...you have seen the movie, right?

  • Comment removed

  • @sam3224 the little monologue is the manifesto of solipsitic white america. Read Johnathan Rosenbaum's review of Dead Man

  • @sam3224 Personally, I think it's a forshadowing of the end of the movie. I could be wrong. But, that's how I took it.

  • @sam3224 He's describing the end scene of the movie.

  • @sam3224 i think its a reference to taking the ferry to the afterlife.. a boat on your way hell.

  • @sam3224 i think its a reference to the ferry you take in the afterlife. a boat on its way to hell..

  • @Chrisravenna Chris DeBurgh says "Don't Pay the Ferryman, till he gets you to the other side..."

  • @sam3224 omg have neithe r of u seen th e movie? he is prophesying about when Depp is dying in the boat at the end of the movie!!!!! knock knock!!!!!!

  • Johnny's like "Wtf?!" O_O;;;

  • @ Raku

    Well, wouldn't you be? XD

  • @ajkl27

For Crispin yes, but for ppl shooting... Nope.

  • They are so great. <3

Love them both to no end.

  • Aw Crispin ...I see why you were chosen to portray Willy in "Epic movie" you are so very creepy ^_^ Now don't let no more look-at-my-body-dummy chicks steal the spotlight from you ever again, okay? =D

Whoa Johnny ...you said my hometown-XD Oh my GOOooooHoooDNESS! 1:27-1:42 Is that Creepy or WHAhahAT!? =S

  • Crispin is amazing/sexy. Johnny depp is hot to and an extremely/amazingly/epicness Actor!

  • how does it feel to be a fucking idiot.

  • @meinLiebsterFeind thanks. why to make someone feel like crap. at least im not a bitch.

  • There is way to much hotness happening in this video. Lol

  • I have this movie, it's great. I think they've been in 3 movies together (What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Dead Man, Alice in Wonderland). Hopefully more, too.

  • Hey, guys, I just uploaded Dead Man! WHOLE MOVIE in 12 parts. It`s on my channel check it out and enjoy! ;)

  • -Machine? That's the end of the line.

    -Is it?

    -YES!

  • I love Crispin and Johnny.

  • Crispin and Johnny, totally rad combination.

  • Neil Young's music, the great black and white picture- love this. Crispin is one unique cat.

  • Crispin's performance is incredible!

So intense! I wish there were more of him in this film.

  • I love Crispin Glover's voice.

  • I don't know which one I like more! O_O

  • this movie is incredibly good, nice work JJ

  • That was sexy. 8D

  • The end at the beginning. Always loved that.

  • nice very nice, I've got to see the full movie

  • crispin is outstanding johnny here .. wauw

  • I freakin hope so,Aw dead man, awesome movie,2 good genuial acting geniuses Crispin N depp, wow what a pair,Crispin was also in what's eating gilbert Grape with Johnny depp as well, such a great scene, gotta watch it again soon.

  • Crispin Glover will be the Riddler on the next Batman.

  • i heard it was johnny =/

  • Dammit, why the hell hasn't Dead Man gotten the Criterion Collection treatment yet?!

  • I cannot describe how Crispin Glover acts, or even what he's doing as he acts...all I know is that I like it.

  • They will be back together again in Burton's version of Alice in Wonderland.

  • crispin is so fucking amazing.

  • There's a lot of subtext just in this scene about the rest of the film. Friggin amazing movie.

  • I wouldn't know, because, uh...I don't reads.

  • can someone tell me the name of this movie

  • it's called 'dead man.' from 1996. directed by jim jarmusch.

  • awesome

    depp looks so innocine

  • The soot all over his face is hilarious.

  • i LOVE crispin! he is so good at those edgy-slightly-insane roles.

  • All the Branjelinas in the world could fall by the wayside and, yes, you would lose a few box office successes. But as long as people like Depp & Glover are around the world will still have cinematic art. Brad & Angie are good, but they lack the purity of these two.

  • Beat off. The end........

  • fucking amazing

  • He has the same speach patterns in all his movies, and brings this same sort of eccentric charecter when he's on talk shows, such as LettermanI do like him however. There is something interesting about him, maybe just his wierd personality

  • Great acting by Glover and Depp.

  • Where was the setting of this movie? I know of a town called Lachine here in Quebec, Canada but I don't think that is the Lachine that they are referring to.

  • Machin is the town, though they say it like Machine. I believe it's fictional.

  • Ah thanks for the answer.

  • Crispin Glover has been in a ton of great movies besides Back to the Future.

  • Both great actors. I could listen to them speak for hours.

    2 Wonkas 1 train. haha

  • KHG is great. such an underrated actor

  • Crispen is so amazing

  • Stunning performance by Glover, absolute perfection. Bravo.

  • Crispin Glover's face is darkened because he was working the engine of the train. Burning the wood.

  • you mean coal?

  • Are you saying he was masturbating?

  • Both played Wonka, and either would make a fine Riddler

  • :/ Crispen played Willie Wonka?

  • It was a Wonka parody in Epic Movie (or one of those). I almost respect him less for being in that movie...almost.

  • I love that movie

  • What movie is this?

  • Dead Man

  • This is the most entertaining Jarmusch film I've seen and by far. It's a really good movie.

  • Of all of his films this is the most engaging

  • カナダ出身のマット・サンダーズ。

    大分での生活をビデオで撮影。

    ユーチューブで世界に配信中。

チャンネル登録をよろしく! :D baxt to the futures rockes

  • マットさん、日本語が上手ですね、あなたのビデオがおもしろくて、notwithstanding that I also agree that Back to the Future rocks.

  • I was distracted by that weird looking guy behind Depp.

  • Great great movie! Love it!

  • Clowny Clown Clown is my favorite dance song. Or for a romantic night alone with that special someone.

  • thats not an "accent" it just hte way he talks; I dont know what youre hearing but he sounds that way all the time

  • I talked with him a couple of months ago and he did not sound like that (beginning of the video)

  • What a delicious combination! =]

Crispin Glover and Johnny Depp... Y U M

  • True, true

  • We'll be seeing them together again with Alice in Wonderland.

  • cool!

  • I think this guy is nothing less of a genius. I saw one of his films at a convention awhile ago and he introduced some of his books, and even read a few passages. This is most definately the most brilliant man I have ever seen. I would like to see how his mind works, and It would be so exciting to converse with him on irrelevant subjects.

  • if u think what he says is irrelivant u missed the point

  • ...irrelevant to this movie, nothing in perticular.

and i couldnt help but see that you didnt manage to type anything in perticular about this clip...

anything come to mind while we discuss Mr. Glover solonely8777?

  • Glover makes Depp look conventional. Correction; Glover makes everyone look conventional.

  • This is still my favorite Johnny Depp movie.

  • I find glover, depp interesting. Often mesmorizing, along with marilyn manson. However if they had ordinary jobs it would be a whole different game. Depp can eat tirds and turn it into a fad ! Along with madonna, prince, etc, etc

  • I swear he is insane lol

  • "and also...where is it that your from?"

    "Cleveland....Lake Erie."

    YEAH. ROCK ON.

  • if you're famous/rich/etc and crazy you're

"eccentric" if you worked at taco bell you'd be labeled crazy.

  • Foreboding classic scene. Crispin is to Johnny Depp as the Cheshire cat is to Alice in Wonderland.

  • perfect analogy. thanks.

  • A wonderful and surreal film. It would take a strange guy like Jim Jarmusch to put together the cast for this movie. Everyone was great. But this scene is so unnerving. Crispin's eyes are so intense...like he's looking right through Depp. An incredible fever dream of a movie. And the soundtrack by Neil Young is perfectly hypnotic and otherworldly.

  • You just sold that movie. Plus i'm going to see Neil Young on sunday. If these storms leave.

  • awesome . that was pretty intense.

  • crispin glover is a genius

  • if crispin glover was " steve wilson" and worked at Taco Bell acting the way he does he'd be labeled differently, probably crazy. But as usual do to the spotlight he gets a pass from being labeled in the fashion of an ordinary person.

  • And if Johnny Depp wasn't attractive people would stop saying he's a good actor. Because he's nothing special without his looks.
