I highly doubt they would have made a drastic cut like that if it had to do with time, and then pass it off as a sexual story that was too appropriate for television. The only attempt to rush through the time I've seen thus far is the host interupting the guest when they're about to lapse into a story, or simply telling them that time is running short.

I'm still in the camp that they cut more for time then for content. This is why I keep saying they need to expand the show to 90 min.Once Letterman decides to leave, instead of having Craig have to move, just put a 30 min Nightline type news show on first then the LLS on after that. Not since Johnny Carson, or Tom Synder has anyone of the late night guys deserved more time for his show.
