Mascherina1964 asked if Grace Slick got paid for this. I do believe I've read elsewhere that her connection to this was that one of the members of the team that made these films (Imagination Inc.) was none other than Jerry Slick, her husband at the time (and her former Great Society bandmate)...so she very well may have waived payment and just seen this as a favor to her husband. Certainly it wouldn't have paid anything like the money she was making in the Airplane.
Do you by any chance have the Ernie bit with the postman, where the postman is trying to deliver a package to Mrs. Mary Ann ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ?
Oh the devil without doubt. Ah, for the days we could get away with that stuff back then! (I've tried it again in a No. 7 segment for my show... we'll see if it squeaks past the PC crowd... lol)
Gotta say one more thing. As a kid one of the things that made me wanna be an animator was the way these guys transitioned the mouseholes upright and zoomed them out to becoming the traffic light at 01:48. 38 years later, isn't that still sexy? :D
These are great! Any chance you could get the Baker Series or the Pinball Series too? Then we'll see if a '1' segment really was made for the baker films?
I think most of the Baker Series is up, but in time I might be able to acquire it. Not sure. The Pinball Series came later though, and doesn't interest me.
You are totally welcome! I do think there's tons of people who post here who have the entire Pinball series. I bet you've found them by now and I hope you do. There's a lot of questions about Baker # 1. I seem to remember there was one, and it may have involved a cow. Seriously.

Question: Did Grace Slick get paid for this?
Another question: I was five when I saw this for the first time, and I had no idea who Grace Slick was. Am I an oddball or not really?
Finally, I agree with rockhopper 10r, this was a creepy video! I was scared whenever it came on, and I noticed that IT CAME ON A LOT!
Love the music though!
Cheers, everyone!

Between the three-headed monster at the beginning and the devil at the end, "Jazz Number Three" was the creepiest in this series when I was little.

Bealzebub was frightening as was the Ghidrah wannabe making an abrupt entrance.

Its funny how a musical segment like this that has not been heard in over 30 years awakens the furthest corners of the mind.

This would be better in the comments section on my mainpage. I don't have that Ernie skit, though.

What is more frightening? The devil in this segment or the large #3 that follows the smoke screen?

Well, the Baker Series is what I'm interested in mainly, just to see if a '1' segment (the only one not currently found anywhere on YouTube) was made.
As for the Pinball series, just thought I'd ask. Thanks again for the Jazz clips though!

I've never seen it, but I've read that there was indeed a Baker 1 segment...the baker drops a large wedding cake at the end.

Funny. I never saw the #3 racecar pulling up from the left side of the screen before.

I love the universial countdown leaders at the beginning of these clips... it reminds me of the one on Adobe Premiere!
