@Meta1Head91 Thanks for the compliment. I was the only little girl in school who hated Britney Spears, N'sync, and the Backstreet boys, so I always felt different than everyone. I pretty much grew up on metal and loved it, without really knowing that much about it, and then I found grunge and instantly fell in love with it. I didn't even start thinking guys were cute until I started looking up pictures of those bands (the long hair, goatees, piercings, tattoos, 90's clothes etc.) HOT STUFF!

Agreed. PJ as a Rock Band may probably dont always keep their music loud and heavy. Many times they make music in a more soft and in a different way(e.g. Indifferenece and Off he Goes). But this what makes PJ still exist in music world. Their flexibility makes them awesome.

They were more of a classic rock/alternative mix. Nirvana is more of a punk rock/hard rock mix, Soundgarden's more of a heavy metal/punk rock mix, and Alice In Chains is pretty much all metal. Therefore IMO, PJ was the least heavy

oh and I forgot to add spin the black circle - totally punk. The only heavy album Nirvana did was In Utero. Anyway I wouldn't say PJ were the least heavy, I would say PJ were the most diverse. AIC were the heaviest, the DIrt album was dark and trippy. But songs like Why Go and blood were not classic rock, I mean they don't exactly sound like the rolling stones now do they! Songs like Alive and Black and Even Flow I would say were classic rock, but Once and Why go are definately heavy metal

Don't forget however that Kurt Cobain thought that "About a Girl" was a pop song so... In a way not really. Incesticide was honostly a terrible album. Of course it was their first so I'll give them a break. However all this metal/punk isn't true whatsoever. Nirvana, PJ, AIC, SOundgarden, STP, ect made there own group clearly "grunge" I will say that grunge had some odd lows and highs. For instance, would you consider A Better Man (PJ) and Man in the Box the same kinda music? Of course not!
