  • I was under the impression all parliamentarians were cunts?

  • No shit, my now dead uncle used to throw parties at his house in windsor, a concerned neighbour told my mum over the garden fence when we went to visit in about 1980 that the night before he had seen Michael Parkinson and Frank Bough walking around his garden naked and off their heads on peruvian flake.

  • monstrous egomaniac that Robin Day was I'm glad he slapped that utter PC guttersnipe Ben Elton ,a man who wanted nothing more than castrate british comedy with his "right on" unfunny comedy.

  • The Elton/Day piece must be from the mid '80s at the earliest... Also Aspel's show was on ITV not the Beeb...

  • @densaner77 That's right.

  • how is ben elton a comedian? never made me laugh

  • I almost believed for a moment that this was real ;-)

  • Robin Day saw something in Ben Elton that made him feel compelled to slap him. it took the rest of us 20 years to come to the same opinion.

  • Did I hear Sue Lawless say something that ryhmes with pluck? My delusions have been shattered.

  • @Jeorney yes she said fuck

  • Ben Elton once a PRATT ALWAYS A PRATT!

  • @PokerPlum You've never heard the "fuck me till I fart!" story, then?

  • Parliamentary cunt!

  • I don't know what to say, I'm lost for words.

  • Has made you something of a parliamentary cunt/cult?

  • THIS IS WEEEIRD

  • Frank Bough was coked off his face!!!

  • @prestwoodwolf pity we can only see his head. would like to have seen what stockings he was wearing

  • @chrissy17169 Yes I would of liked to have seen that myself.

  • LOL at 0:40!

  • I know Ben Elton's a bit of a git, but Robin Day was a vile cunt of the highest order.

  • @Widmerpool99 yes and who better to unleash it on than ben elton.

  • @PokerPlum i know, omg!!!

  • ITV 3 didn't exist in the 70's

  • @Tzimnewman3 AND?

  • awhhh bolocks:P

  • Elton is a prize knobhead

  • @leenyburghers the trouble with Elton

is he can give it but cant take it.

  • This is more like a gallery of shame. Mike Yarwood - the worst impersonator ever and it took years before anyone actually told him he was crap; then we have Frank Bough who smoked spliffs and dallied with prostitutes. Nice to see Ben Elton fawning before Robin 'Miserable' Day... Oh happy days...lol.

  • good old Sir robin day

  • @crompton33001

out of the interviewer's chair, he was a very impish person :D

  • such profanity

  • Hit the chick on the face :-D

  • Sir Robin Day's interview with Denis Skinner is the funnest of them all.

  • The BBC: the greatest deadpan swearing in the world.

  • The Michael Aspel/Robin Day/Ben Elton clip must have been from ITV, not BBC.

  • Great seeing someone give Ben Elton a slap. Pity it wasn't harder. One good punch would have knocked out his mockney accent and he would have returned to speaking Oxbridge.

Dennis Skinner looks about aged 18!

  • Ben Elton didn't got to Oxford or Cambridge and he's from London - what makes you think his accent's fake?

  • parliamentary c*nt...cult...

  • that ben elton clip was not from the 70s, probably late 80s

  • Ben Elton, back in the days when he was just an irritating shit

  • A great Freudian slip by Sir Robin!

  • Sir Robin Day calling Dennis Skinner a "Parliamentry c**t" - arf arf!

  • ... With the oval shit.

  • God they swear a lot! lol!

  • Wow! Now I have seen everything! Nice

  • Sue Lawley swearing??? I didn't think she knew words like that

  • I think there was quite a queue to slap Ben Elton in those days.
