As far as im aware, shakira disagreed to only having either english or spanish in the song, because she was singing about africa, she insisted there be an african language in the song. Which is why in either english or spanish version, there is also african. When the two different versions where created she insisted also, that no translation would be made, to show her respect for the language and people. :D

If you mean about the Tsamina mina eh eh part, thats because it is a mythical language that only those who know of the language can explain. Such example because it is not on any translator..... :) so therefore, it cannot be translated for video's unless one of its origin explains the words.... so basically it cannot be translated for this video..... its the english version anyway.... !!!!
