My guidence counselor had told me I would need to be placed in special classes because my grades were all poor. I quickly started to study and my grades went from all F's to all A's.
In fact it was so dramatic some of my teachers started giving away prizes to students who make the most change to improving their grades of the following semester.

I think when you go complete random on one of these tests it has an average score it will settle on, in your case it was an average of 110 of 4 tries. Try scoring 120 - 140 every time by going random, it probably would happen 1/3 of the time compared to a 100-120 score.
I guess if you were mentally retarded (which I believe is an IQ of 50 - 75) you could go complete random and score better. The thing is they aren't smart enough to have thought of doing that in the first place!
Shame really though, considering that Mensa scores me as 158. The test itself is fairly good for the most part, with some entertaining, logical puzzles.
This test was not particularly difficult for me, scored 154, but I have no interest in joining the society. Thank you for showing me this test, my good up-loader!

i got 126 so just barely passed but then i took the hardest test in that website..the TA cubed, i think its called... theres was a lot of trivia qs which im rubbish so prob would've scored higher if it wasnt for that. I took the test 4 times and scored between 103 and 117. All 4 scores were above average IQ.

If you took the WISC test then I believe you are ONE point away from the ceiling score of that test(160), However, you may not have taken that test, so I cannot garentee this. However, no matter what test you took, a score of 159 is extremely good!

The site is the international high IQ society, for people who score within the 95th percentile. Basically, you need a score of at least 124. I managed a score of 125, and after, it requires to to pay in order to join (simliar to mensa, except easier). That's all there is. I choose not to pay.

You're wrong. Smart people do well on IQ tests. In the 60s, nobel prize winners were tested and they all scored really high. Also, people who aren't that bright score low on IQ tests. So how are IQ tests not some sort of measure of intelligence ? Peoples' score on the test really does reflect intelligence and capability for cognitigive and analytical thinking.

In response to some allegations:
I did not memorize the results -- I didn't even read the questions.
The test may not be legit, but taking other tests & answering randomly you can still get an IQ score greater than 100 -- if you do it quickly.
The whole point of this is the average IQ is 100. By answering randomly (without even reading the questions) you can get an above average IQ score.
Which proves that not thinking or reading actually increases your IQ :)

@MrBitterGuy ive done a REAL iq test, a test not done on a computer and its nothing like these internet iq tests, in a real iq test u cant just guess awnsers because u have to think logically about the puzzle/ task your presented with...

there are two different IQ tests, one for the left brained, wich was made not knowing of the two hemispheres of the brain, by a left brained person. most of us think with our left brain instead of our right brain. this makes right brained people seem, well, not smart. ive made one for your right brain.
im still testing it, but it seems to work pretty well. this is why you can have a musical genius, or amazing artist, with an IQ of about 60.
My left brain IQ: 136
My right brain IQ: 150-170.

i scored one hundred and thirty five. but i dont think iq tests really reflect on how smart you are. in my opinion iq tests only test how good you are at doing iq tests. so dont care too much about what you get

i got a 90 on that shit! would i be cheating if i take it again? i'm 17 by the way.. i thought i was smart..i always get a high score on my test and pick up quickly on the first 2 weeks in school but then my lazy side would start taking over and i'd just start ditching class or just sleep during lessons!

Me or him, dude, the lady told me at the contact section that it was a perfecto, yeah sure ain't high jus' perfecto! I am now training for the GIGA test, and me is a 17, foo! Just let you know anywhere between 150- and 160 is perfect due to their complex computer algorithm scoring logic. One score for perfection is never always constant.

Not true, I scored 157 on this stupid thing and that was the ceiling for that specific test after I asked if I got 100%. I can even tell you the answers if you do not believe it.

One of you said you had an IQ of 145. That is a typical cut-off for genius, why not a score like 146 or 144, 145 is a benchmark. Liar

i'm not surprised at the score. if you had taken the test seriously you would have spent more time answering each question... and time is taken into account in your score.
I personally don't believe these tests should be timed. Arthur Jensen, a leading researcher on IQ, liked to administer untimed IQ tests

You're wrong. Smart people do well on IQ tests. In the 60s, nobel prize winners were tested and they all scored really high. Also, people who aren't that bright score low on IQ tests. So how are IQ tests not some sort of measure of intelligence ? Peoples' score on the test really does reflect intelligence and capability for cognitigive and analytical thinking.

the polarisaion is starting to occur at a greater rate, smarter kids are being born smarter and dumber, dumber.
however you do have to develop your ability to turn an high "IQ" into a smart way of life, unfortunatly EGO can distroy people of greater intellegence easily because the EGO has sway in the mental logical arguement though body and emotion.
what i'm trying to say is you can still lie to yourself, and your logic is only as strong as your honesty to yourself.
