After her mastectomy, she found this song. Her husband was killed in a car accident two years later by a drunk driver. I now take care of their daughters along with my own children and our mother. Every now and again, we listen to this song and although we cry, it reminds us of her. She loved this song.

He wants us to be all united in one church, united within the body of Christ; to live our lives fully for him, trusting in his spirit and to all be firmly rooted in him, so that we when the time comes we will never fall down to sin again. I love Seventh Day Slumber...I wrote to them a year or two ago to say they'd helped me with stuff like SI but that i didn't expect they would personally read the letter (popular band and all that) and they wrote back and thanked me personally for writing etc...so cool.

I first heard this song while walking just outside Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida... It felt as though the song was written for me.... I purchased their album just from this song and am now a fan of Seventh Day Slumber :)

If Christian radio actually played more of these kinda songs, I might actually listen to it. I'm so freakin' sick of Casting Crowns (the most overrated Christian band ever)! Why not play RED, Kevin Max, Fernando Ortega, Lifehouse, U2, newsboys (pre-worship days), Scott Stapp, Vineyard UK, ect, ect.......?
@MultiTexMex I enjoy the worship groups, and I love Christian Worship Radio. But that's all there is. There needs to be variety! And btw, Casting Crowns is among the best Christian Worship group out there.
@MultiTexMex I know air1 plays some of those artists you mentioned. If you're looking for harder music, radioU plays Christian rock, metal, screamo, hip-hop, electronic, the list goes on. And no Casting Crowns (I can only take so much of them...)! Both you can listen to online :) Hope you find something you like!
@MultiTexMex have you heard of the radio station Air 1? they play some of the bands you mentioned (Newsboys, Lifehouse, RED). They also play TFK, Kutless, Skillet..as well as a bunch of other stuff. :)
It's mostly because of adults..Some just only like music that focuses on God Jesus love etc..Some even reject that there are other styles other than worship(the actual genre)..Now if they played red on a Christian radio during the day..most would say 'WHERE IS MY MUSIC THAT FOCUSES ON WHAT I WANNA HEAR?!".
Lol, I know what you mean...I guess most radio stations have to be neutral (lots of famlies with kids listening), and can't put much of the harder stuff. The radio station in my area plays a program called "Whip of Cords radio", with all those kind of artists, it's really sweet. They have a website if you want to look it up. Request it for the Christian radio station where you live, then maybe they'll put it on :) The one I listen to plays it saturday nights. It's awesome!! :D

I just met them, they were preforming at my school, and I was walking through the halls from art club, saw them setting up. I had no idea who they were! D: Now I regret not getting an autograph or something!

I first heard this song while walking just outside Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida... It felt as though the song was written for me.... I purchased their album just from this song and am now a fan of Seventh Day Slumber :)

i saw them sunday night at my church. Joseph spoke about his earlier experiences before reaching God. his story really touched my heart, and it gave me hope to know that God DOES look out for us

If Christian radio actually played more of these kinda songs, I might actually listen to it. I'm so freakin' sick of Casting Crowns (the most overrated Christian band ever)! Why not play RED, Kevin Max, Fernando Ortega, Lifehouse, U2, newsboys (pre-worship days), Scott Stapp, Vineyard UK, ect, ect.......?

@MultiTexMex I enjoy the worship groups, and I love Christian Worship Radio. But that's all there is. There needs to be variety! And btw, Casting Crowns is among the best Christian Worship group out there.

@MultiTexMex I know air1 plays some of those artists you mentioned. If you're looking for harder music, radioU plays Christian rock, metal, screamo, hip-hop, electronic, the list goes on. And no Casting Crowns (I can only take so much of them...)! Both you can listen to online :) Hope you find something you like!

@MultiTexMex have you heard of the radio station Air 1? they play some of the bands you mentioned (Newsboys, Lifehouse, RED). They also play TFK, Kutless, Skillet..as well as a bunch of other stuff. :)

It's mostly because of adults..Some just only like music that focuses on God Jesus love etc..Some even reject that there are other styles other than worship(the actual genre)..Now if they played red on a Christian radio during the day..most would say 'WHERE IS MY MUSIC THAT FOCUSES ON WHAT I WANNA HEAR?!".

Lol, I know what you mean...I guess most radio stations have to be neutral (lots of famlies with kids listening), and can't put much of the harder stuff. The radio station in my area plays a program called "Whip of Cords radio", with all those kind of artists, it's really sweet. They have a website if you want to look it up. Request it for the Christian radio station where you live, then maybe they'll put it on :) The one I listen to plays it saturday nights. It's awesome!! :D
