I must agree that gaited horses are amazing ^_^ I have 2 walkers myself. Curious question, does having a blanket under the bareback pad secure it better?
certainly, its puttin on the ritz by Shiny Toy Guns. Im so bummed I dont have a good enough connection to upload videos right now but hes come really far he jumps bareback and bridleless for me now ! =] Hes an awesome horse - game for anything
They are! I havent had that much expierence with them, we have always had jumpers but he is probably the smartest horse ive ever worked with... which is good and bad haha
o ok! I moved my gelding there when he first retired for about 6 months after leaving Sycamore. I got too bored riding flat/arena all the time so I brought him over to the bay. I wish you guys still had horse shows there it was great to take the little ones to!
yeah the lack of trails is a bummer :( idk why they stopped the shows...they always seemed pretty successful to me, and they were great! but everything horse seems to be dying in orange county unfortunately.
I know, no horses signs keep appearing on trails I have been riding since I was 8! I remember showing at the fairgrounds in hunters while the roller coaster from the fair was operating right next to the arena... my horse kept staring up at the sky while I was trying to ride down the outside line lol.
He got talent to be a jumper horse. Beautiful horse tell he listen to you and your body language, I working with my rescued walker, afraid of the lunge whip. Amazing animal.
Thank you, hes very athletic but still unsure about jumping when you put a rider into the equation. He used to be afraid of the lunge whip for years... I only use it to hold on days when he is being a bit cocky and I still never crack it, but for the most part hes happier without its presence. Ill check out your videos =]
thank you, for teaching a wonderful horse to trust. Maybe taking another horse and jump while on the horse, maybe he watch, then learns. I find my horse wouldm't go over ground poles until watch my lease appy horse.
aww thanks! No, his name is Real he's one of my boss's clients horses, but its pronounced Re-al I just don't know how to put the little mark above the "a". He's come a long way - he was abused at his previous home and it took him a good 2 years to completely trust me, I did parelli stuff with him that helped a lot. Now he's such a great little trail horse I can make videos off him!
That's so awful that someone would abuse another living creature like that. My TB was abused as well by the guy who owned him when he was on the track. He is really head-shy in his stall because the guy would hit him in there I think. His left eye is blind from being hit in it with something. :(( I'm so glad Real is with you and his owner. I'm so glad you have the kindness and patience that he needs. He deserves LOVE!!! <3
wow your horse is amazing <3 <3 :)
