Obama was poking fun at the picture since he was cut out of the original picture for the cover shot. I agree though, just because she's a celebrity she's being held to a higher standard in which her size, which would be a normal size for all of us, is considered obese by celeb standards. It's unfair and the gossip mags need to chill.

As for Jessica Simpson, I read somewhere that she was 135 ibs. thats an average perfect weight for her. I think. She still looks good, A size 2 is not healthy, a size 6-12 is healthy. I would LOVE to be between those sizes and that weight. and Woo Hoo for Jessica to have Curves :)

I can't stand Jessica Simpson so I could care less. She's not the first person to be slammed. Look at Oprah, Kirstie Alley...the list goes on. She's not the first to be slammed and she won't be the last so I'm not gonna cry a river over her. I think she's milking this for everything it's worth cuz they are talking about her constantly now. I think Jessica Simpson is beautiful and heck with the people that are slamming her. Why does Hollywood think we all have to be stick figures? Everytime a actress puts on a little weight the ragmags and the gossip show slam them. It is no wonder there are so many young women suffering from anrexia and bulemia.
