I believe it takes double the amount of C4 to blow up a point now than it did when this video was made and also the point in the video must have already been damaged because before the patch it still took 6 or more C4, not 3 (anti-tank mines were stronger though I believe).

But if say the heli is shot down but remain mostly intact in hostile environment, they will locate the heli and blow it up so that the enemy does not obtain their high tech equipment (ACS modules, weaponry and such) to use it against them.
