This piece is 「鳥の詩」(Tori no Uta / Bird's poem). It was composed by 折戸伸治(ORITO Shinji).

@capricenyc I think the translation "Tori no Uta" actually means "Bird's Song". I believe GeodeGX made a mistake there :)

How many keys do you need to be able to play this piece? My keyboard only has 61 keys so yeah(still a beginner). Nice playing btw <3

61keys range is C2-C7.

88keys range is A0-C8.

At 1:43 in this peace, I use F sharp 1. It is not in the range of 61 keyboards. In others, I use B flat 1 and A flat 1.

But, you omit it or should play it over an octave instead.

I wish I could play Tori no uta. I have a 61 key keyboard, but really and truly, I haven't played it since I was five. I have no idea how to play. I can play the first four measures in the treble...(Is that right?) section. I play clarinet, and flute, both, and even a little guitar, so I can read note names. Your really inspired me.

heh, actually, Josh's sounds nothing like this... josh filled his with a ton of underlying left hand notes that are completely unnecassary (shown by this video) and sound awkward...

plus, that transcription is hard to play with small hands
