I have just read a bunch of posts by people who are very fond of the mother of the girl singing the song. Having watched the video a couple of times, I will agree that she does look quite nice in her jeans as well as her bathing suit! Good for her!

I always used to think of this song when I went to my dad's house. He had this enormous pool, and lived next to the woods...so I would constantly see frogs swimming with me in his pool. I never minded and let them swim with me..because of this song!

Not only is it similiar to Doggy Paddle, it features members from the same family. The girl here is the sister of the doggy-paddling boy. The siblings appear together in "Water Baby," which is uploaded under the title "Seals (and other swimmers)".

Never realized it was the same family until YouTube made it possible to see all the films at once. XD

Hey, now that I look at it again, it's the same girl that's in "Water Baby", with what seem to be her brothers. Same pool, too. They must have shot the footage for all three of these (including "Paddle Like a Doggie") the same day. Wonder who that family was?
