  • @dieselperformance17 or gravely.... but hell for the size nothing beats an old cc 127

  • GET A LIFE

  • Nice to see that old iron still at work. Some of the best small tractors made in the 60's and 70's. Love the sound of those old cast iron Kohler engines too. Have you restored it yet?

  • @tommymodified well not really i took the engine off and de-carbon the head and replaced the head gasket and i rebuilt the steering box thats it

  • Well that's a good start! haha I made of video of me plowing dirt with my old Springfield tractor last year. Its from around the same era as yours.

  • Those blades work much better in the snow. lol

  • yea but I was a little younger and so excited that it worked that i wanted to plow something and it was like the the middle of august so yea

  • thank you . why don't go do something constructive now. I made this video when i was younger and at the time I thought it was pretty good. ok. i don't need pissed off ignorant people wasting my time

  • not just a good tractor but the best garden tractor ever built

  • hi hi

  • wen u do something like this agian dont take a big bite with the plow just chip away at it

  • if you ever need help with restoration ive done 18 over. so dont be afraid.. i take them down to the frame and go from there

  • I have a 1973 129 with a 42" plow, the thing is a beast, you can not stop it. I redid the engine, over board, new rings, connecting rod, turned crank shaft, the whole nine yards. If you are plowing snow like I do you definitely want a hydro, so much faster.

  • I love those cub cadets

  • check the hydro fluid. also if you need help i do have an extra hydro tranny kicking around. if you wanna try that. ive got many hydro parts if needed

  • Hey man, if youre gonna be doing stuff like this you need to get a hydrostatic like my 1250.. You woulda got it done in half the time.

  • gears are better for pushing and pulling

  • STRONGLY AGREED

  • Dude, you have no idea what you're doing their!!! Sweet tractor and blade though!!

  • I have a Cub Cadet 125 and i would love to get a plow but the transmission doesnt stop with the brake pedal so i have to fix that while i am restoring it. Where did yo get yours?

  • My Great Grandfather bought it new at an IH dealership and its been in my family ever since.

  • Thats the same exact story with my Cub 107, grandfather bought it new and it outlived our 2001 craftsman tractor. We also have a 1973 craftsman which is being outfitted as a pulling tractor.

  • welll mines a 68' 106 and we use it for mowing but the mower deck is not that great. That one you have there looks like its in great shape sounds like its running good too

i'll post a vid when i get the chance

  • That is a great looking tractor! I dont see too many of the 122's around, but that one definetely still looks like its still got all the old power. Cubs dont ever quit. Good luck with restoration. I plan to follow a similar restoration process with mine eventually.
