Nice to see that old iron still at work. Some of the best small tractors made in the 60's and 70's. Love the sound of those old cast iron Kohler engines too. Have you restored it yet?
thank you . why don't go do something constructive now. I made this video when i was younger and at the time I thought it was pretty good. ok. i don't need pissed off ignorant people wasting my time
I have a 1973 129 with a 42" plow, the thing is a beast, you can not stop it. I redid the engine, over board, new rings, connecting rod, turned crank shaft, the whole nine yards. If you are plowing snow like I do you definitely want a hydro, so much faster.
check the hydro fluid. also if you need help i do have an extra hydro tranny kicking around. if you wanna try that. ive got many hydro parts if needed
I have a Cub Cadet 125 and i would love to get a plow but the transmission doesnt stop with the brake pedal so i have to fix that while i am restoring it. Where did yo get yours?
Thats the same exact story with my Cub 107, grandfather bought it new and it outlived our 2001 craftsman tractor. We also have a 1973 craftsman which is being outfitted as a pulling tractor.
welll mines a 68' 106 and we use it for mowing but the mower deck is not that great. That one you have there looks like its in great shape sounds like its running good too
That is a great looking tractor! I dont see too many of the 122's around, but that one definetely still looks like its still got all the old power. Cubs dont ever quit. Good luck with restoration. I plan to follow a similar restoration process with mine eventually.
What tires were you running?
