There are so many other worthy tunes on this LP that are better musically than this one, but none of them got airplay. I know its all about the bleeding heart. To make you smile again, caravan are better tunes i think.

Since this was 1979 even a great ballad like this prob had a tough time at radio stations. It might have done better chartwise if the song came out in 1980 or '81. It is still a great song.

To me, both the talented Ms Melissa Manchester & Dame Shirly Bassey outshines Elkie in all aspects. This is my opinion. Please do not be upset.
