    beside its writhen ENGINE power cuz if that thing had 560 at the weels it ment engine produced about 700hp at the crank

    read somethig about engine and power tests before u write any thing

    A 525hp, 624hp and a tuner version all rated engine hp.

    Those S/C are rated with no other modifications to the engine or car.

    They did many other mods to the car, so why is it so hard believe.

    To make 560 rwhp they need about 660 engine hp with 15% drivetrain loss

This is not flywheel rated or "engine rated" power. It was put on a dyno, and measured how much power it produced at the rear wheels. Understand? Or should I type like a 14 year old girl does when she text messages so you can understand my language? Idiot.

  • @DarkItachi1 Pause the video at 0:17 seconds, you see how the pulley seems to drive the right side of the supercharger, the right screw? I'm pretty sure the left screw just spins with it (or against it, whatever). I don't think it has a planetary gear setup in the face of the blower driving the screws, that seems like it would be unnecessary. I'm pretty sure the pulley directly spins the right screw, in turn making the left one spin just as fast. I could be wrong though, im not certain.

  • @DeAdiSSu3 The two screws have to be connected together via gears. The two screws cannot touch each other (which would let one turn the other) doing so would instantly ruin the screws due to the rubbing.

    All positive displacement blowers, including both automotive and industrial, have a gearset to connect both screws.

  • @Marc99GT The only difference in loss between FACTORY transmissions is roughly 15% drivetrain loss on manuals and about 18% drivetrain loss on automatics...this is factory transmissions, where race transmissions are roughly the same parasitic loss for both trans

  • Hey guys! Is the 525hp supercharger-kit as well as the 624hp supercharger-kit suitable for 2011 5.0 automatic equipped vehicles? We discussed that in our german us-car blog and most of the members think the (stock) automatic-transmission will blow up if the 624hp kit would be installed? Which kit works with the stock automatic transmission without damaging it? I guess you got the 525hp kit plus the listed mods above?! Are there any mods 2 the transmission itself? greetings from berlin, germany

  • @PrimuslnterPares the brand new 6spd auto is good for 800 tq running through it, all you really want for the auto would be a stall converter and youre set, but no, you shouldnt run into any trouble with the 624hp kit

    The reason it's not a great idea to put a kit like that on the auto is the loss of power with the automatic!

    For example- a 6sp Man. with a procharger running 550hp at 12lbs (not real numbers, and then you have a 6sp auto running the EXACT same will run at a (lets say) 450hp....you lose power powering the auto, UNLESS you upgraded your trasmission to race tranny! not NEEDED of course, but you won't see the same gains as your fellow manual buddies!

    Most auto's work along with a fluid flywheel. This is basically a chamber with two fans immersed in fluid. Say you filled a bowl with water, placed a propeller on a pivot at the bottom. Now if you lowered another fan in the water that was attached to an electric whisk and turned it on, the current it generates in the water will make the fan at the bottom turn. (i have to cut my post into TWO parts so look for the other)

    Thats the basic idea of a fluid flywheel. Most of the power is lost through the sheer effects of the liquid.Autos use a thing called a torque converter to up the effiency of the flywheel, and after a certain speed of rotation is reached, they are pretty much as effective as a manual.

You proved my point correct while simultaneously making yourself seem that much more uninformed. The parasitic loss of an automatic transmission is not nearly as big as you state. There is something of a 3% loss difference, roughly, between Auto and Manual. You are not a mechanic, and know nothing about cars. Cheers troll :)

  • @qwicxs Those are wheels from Vaughn Gittin Jr's new line called Ready to Rock (RTR). You can get them from Classic Design Concepts.

    @gunshin95991 It's not a chin spoiler, that's actually part of the front fascia. It's part of the California Special package. It also comes with the same rear valance as the GT500. I have a GT/CS, and what I think you'll really like is all the Carbon on the inside of the car. Really sets it apart from the average Mustang.

  • @agent007kimball The new Auto trans is good for about 800lbs of torque. All you really need is a higher stall converter and the car would fly. Cheers!
