Anyone wanting to do these hairstyles who have longer hair, either sleep in a plat so it curls and is shorter for the last hairstyle, and use way more pins and pull less hair through the tie when making the bun. I just tried these and they worked better for my long hair like that :)

I'm so glad I found this. The other day I was trying to do this complicated hairstyle (at least complicated for one person in a small bathroom with one hand on your head) and I was using one of those really small plastic hairbands and I stuck one side in my mouth and the other side with my fingers and since one hand was holding the hair in place, I decided to use my teeth to pull and the band snapped my lip. I had a bump on my lip the whole day... ._.
