  • Hey J, Thanks for the vid respose.

  • @fal2grace1 "response" :)

  • @fal2grace1 Ha Ha...will it happen???? This Time???? It may...We knew me and you like ah 3 1/2 years ago.

  • @CosmicDramaQueen yep forever ago:)

  • What's the name of the song?

  • @ustfu Madonna...HOLIDAY :)

  • Wells Fargo, Goodyear, Arizona lost all records of ownership on my box...no computer records, no signature records! Although my rent was current, they drilled my box and removed the contents, under what they call dual control. In my opinion it's like having the fox guard the hen house. When I went in to straighten things out we compared their inventory to mine and guess what! There were items missing. They sent me their little brochure to read and said get a lawyer!

  • @GateKeeper7004 Sorry to hear that :( They are Scum of the Earth Thieves!!!!

  • I can understand the rent aspect, but the other stuff is crap so much for privacy right.

  • What's the tune, guys ?

  • They basically force you to sign an agreement that states that they can do whatever they want. If you're under investigation, the IRS is after you, or anything of the like they can seize any monies or property you may have. The only insurance you have in life 'is' what you 'have' in your physical possession. Gold, cash, etc.

  • Wow, thanks for reading that to us, it is in writing!

  • @silverfuturist Thanks for watching :)

  • Thank You for further exposing that lack of trust to be given to institutions of trust.

They ain't you're friend and will be the first ones to betray you when ordered to do so.

All the years of Good Morning! How Are You Today?......will be what they are.....just words.

  • if you do your taxes at your local irs center they'll ask you " a series of questions" .... "did you PAY for a safe deposit box?" not "do you HAVE a safe deposit box?" accountants never ask about safe box. taxact, turbotax don't have this question.

i don't have a safe box and after watching some videos i think i'll keep all my money in a safer place. fuck banks

  • so they jack you. take that. Scott (BUG)

  • Thanks! Very informative!

  • Thanx for the heads up!

  • Cosmic...

I'm a commercial banker.. I don't 'think' the system is collapsing.. I know it is. Hang on.. buy a SAFE.. bolt it to the FLOOR of your house and hang on. I just hope to god you have enough silver to put in it.

  • 5 stars, thank you!

  • You are quite welcome!!!! Make sure to take care of business:)

  • any INFORMATION in the box also is not safe. thank you. 5 stars

  • Great information! Thanks for the posts!

  • My grandparents had some of those.

When My last granparent passed away we found several keys, we did not know what baks they went to. The banks they were in must have just kept the contents that were in them. So best to have instructions in a will. They won't contact your family if you pass!!

  • I dont know which lender your grandparents were with but I would definately try aquiring the contents of that box. Keep trying, some banks are more leniant with special circumstances like yours. I pray for all the best for you and yours...

    =)

  • Fire and water proof personal safes seems like a safer bet. Thanks for confirming what I have been feeling for a long time.

  • Didn't FDR seal the safe deposit boxes when he declared a bank holiday?

  • Hell Yeah he did!

  • Great advice hunny!

  • Gotta funny feeling ......Something GREAT is going to happen, in addition to everything else....Really! ;)

  • Thanks!!!!

  • Some of the banks closed in pittsburgh for the G20. This is why the really rich have the safes at home. Great point though. One of those little daily things that no one really thinks about.

  • Thanks, as always for stopping by:)

  • wow. i knew i wanted to close up by bank account for a reason! They call them CHASE for a reason... you are chasing down your money!! i just found out that you dont have to have a bank account to cash a payroll check at the bank that your employer writes your check from!

    P.S.

    LOVE the new hair :P

  • New Hair=Stuffed in the back of my Vest...LOL

  • great information!! wow, had no clue.

  • Yup...sad but true:(

  • Welcome YT STAR lady:) I value your Stars Greatly:)

  • Thanks for stopping by...as always Sister!

  • Great Stuff!

  • Thanks!

  • If I was an American, I would go to BOA, and Citi and get safety deposit boxes. I would leave a big stinking coil, and a fresh cod in them. It would be worth paying the yearly fees to stink up the place. Hey, it's my safety deposit box after all. If they want to seize it, they can go right ahead, so long as they don't puke on the floor. I would never trust a bank with anything, not even a cactus to take care of.

  • OMG, somebody is reading my mind!!!...

  • You got that right Sister!

  • In these uncertain financial times trusting the system with your wealth , PM's or important papers is precarious .

Bolted down safe at home .

    Good info CDQ.

  • damn - accidentally clicked 4 stars instead of 5!

sorry girl! meant to give you 10 - but yt only allows 5!!!

  • Bad Stella Bad Stella...lol

  • oh wow CDQ... I had no idea. So that sorta negates the point of having a safety deposit box. Thanks for the info. (btw, you look fabulous:)

  • Smoke and Mirrors, not to mention low resolution:)

  • nah... you're a star:))

  • The patriot act states in an event of a bank holiday all safety deposit boxes must be opened in front of a Federal Reserve rep and all PMs and guns will be confiscated.

  • Yeah, I read that.

  • I'll get a safety deposit box the same day I'll apply for a B of A credit card. lol. And I'll be sure to deposit my dollars in that box once they're worth 0.

  • Sooner than we think probably

  • It might be helpful for people with ideas for alternative storage of valuables to post them here. For example, homeowners can bury things in the yard (but mind that some who've done this couldn't find their valuables later), some people could install a floor safe, or you could keep precious items in a rented commercial storage unit (I don't recall ever hearing of one of those being robbed).

  • I wouldn't even trust the Banks Safety Deposit Boxes with my Grandma's Knitting

  • safe deposit 5 gallon buckets...

    buried out back ...

  • I suppose a home safe is safer than a "caixa de seguranca" for valuables, but that could attract thieves.

My bank assures me that my safety deposit box is safe, and I live in a small town. I'm sure Jimmy Stewart would let me get my few coins out in case of mobs. It's all just glitter anyway....including the papers.

  • The most secure storage is that which no one else knows about. Secrecy is better than walls of stone, or doors of iron. =^[.]^=

  • I'm with you on this!!!

  • might be time to put

    nice fresh 7 pound salmon

    in safe deposit box ....

  • you never fail to make me smile

  • Pee You:)

  • @chena3 The only trouble with putting meat in a safe deposit box is they would probably charge you with an act of bio-terrorism.

  • why not have a floor safe installed in your house, 2500 bucks would get the job done. or a compatent and Trusted carpenter could build a hidden spot for a firesafe in a wall or floor.

  • in these times, it's best to use as much imagination as possible when it comes to protecting your assets!

  • Are you sayin da banks are in trouble!!!???

  • Hee hee

  • Wow, sounds like the same kind of assurances I can make on my dresser drawer. Oh, wait, the FDIC doesn't have jurisdiction over my dresser drawer.

    Apprciate the info.

  • I know my peeps know this, but I thought if anyone did a YT search on safety deposit boxes, I could go viral in the coming weeks.

  • Well that paper you read off sure sounded scary. No, I wouldn't call a safety deposit box safe either. lol -That's why I don't have one....except for my own version of one. I don't pay monthly fees on mine either for the privilege of the the space. :p

Fantastic reminder CDQ!!! Very good info for everyone to keep in mind.

  • Just for documents:)

  • I wouldn't even trust them with that much! LOL!!

  • I thought everyone knew that, but that doesn't mattter. What I am curious about though is the date that document came out. The "Unusual crouds, and Mobs" I find to be very interesting. Almost like they were getting ready for something ;-)

  • This contract was dated 2008...yes they know alright!

  • bank? who uses banks?

    haha

  • Yeah right!

  • Doesn't seem a like a very safe box to me. :)

  • NOPE
