Hey. I checked up on him today and his breathing isn't as labored but COPD won't ever go away, he has it for life. We have to keep a good eye on him and get him steroid shots when he has reactions. The good thing is(we live in texas) and soon it'll get cooler out. Today the weather was on his side and it rained. ^_^
aww he he that's great that it's getting a bit better.. mhm yea as long as you play close attention I think she should be fine :) good luck with her though and hope everything goes well for both of you :)
I will. COPD stands for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease otherwise known as Heaves. It's a heat and Humid induced Asthmatic type disease. He weezes and labors his breathing when it gets hot and humid out.
ugh that sucks.. I think we have a horse close to here who has it..everytime he jumps higher than a meter he starts to get asthma etc and we live in a hot and humid climate.. damn I really hope your horse gets better soon
Wow. I love Nick. He has a lot of personality. Looks like the Skinny version of Junior.(Talked about him on your JetSet movie)Nick settles in Fast. I like the way that barn is made by the way.
thanks :) he actually had a few probs setting in lol he slipped and smth happened with his muscle so training is back to zero... however were riding him again now and doing more coming thru d back but it's hard for him .. thanks :D he he aww lol he put on some weight tho ha ha so he might look like junior now :)
haha....he might, junior was a big quarter horse though. I'm sorry about what happened with his muscle. My dad may soon let me take Dressage and Jumping lessons. ^_^ I'm so excited since Sweetheart will be learning with me.

Sweetheart girl horse. I'm really sad right now today though because Ace has been having lots of health problems costing my dad and we just found out today that he has COPD. It's treatable but my dad is tired of paying for all these health problems and is considering selling. he'll regret it if he does though.
ugh that sucks. I don't really know what COPD is but it really doesn't sound good.. my dad was also considering selling nick because of all his problems with the muscle.. keep me posted on how things go
