Loved this song since I first heard it. Always felt at home in the South West, it describes perfectly for me connecting with my faith, out in the open it's almost unavoidable but in the city you have to reach out to it. Which faith I follow is irrelevant. Beautiful song that has always touched me.

The Radjel in Pendeen. A true locals pub. Gurnards Head. A bit Posh these days. Miners in Zennor. Nice but can be taken over in the summer.. North inn Pendeen, another local Pub St just has the Star in the square. 5pubs all within 150 yards. But the star is the best. Try the white hart at Ludgvan. My local about 4 miles from Men an tol.

When I was on holiday down in Cornwall I made the long trek to Men-an-tol and crawled through the holed circular rock. I felt a strange feeling as I did so, and as I emerged from the other side a 'jogger' appeared from nowhere offered me a cursory glance and carried on without saying a word. Weird........or unreal.....it felt very strange.

Fantastic, powerful track that I will have played over some decent speakers at my funeral!!
