All the "scary chemicals" that are used in the synthesis to make meth, are filtered off or purged out in some way, and basically, when your done, your left with pure meth, and ONLY methamphetamine, no other chemicals.

if you think meth is scary, take a look at what's in table salt. Sodium is explosive and chlorine is a poisonous gas.

@jozanstarks Apparently you don't understand what a chemical reaction is. Sodium isn't "explosive"... it is combustable with water (like the trace amounts of water on your skin). Besides, I doubt anyone uses these household items to make meth, producing it with chemicals is much easier than isolating them from things like gasoline, cat liter, etc.
