  • nice tamber but too popsi for my taste

  • Amazing! Please come to Ireland :-)

  • I love John Dowland!

  • Beautiful voice, but the vibrato is AWFUL. And the strings in the accompaniment make it just plain cheap.

  • @plingplong4life Flow My Tears was originally written for lute. =P

  • @OCPDaveL yes I am quite aware of that. I meant the synthesizer-strings that are added in the background :)

  • splendid voice!

  • this is beautiful. Very tasteful and subtle.

  • Very nice ! I even prefer it to Andreas Scholl's and Sting's versions.

Is this captation available on record or other support ?

  • @Decronys "A Sacred Journey" recording will be released in a few weeks. This is the only non-sacred track on the album, a bonus if you will. Tour dates are available at Terry's site.

  • Gospel music is generally a very throaty, strident sound... I am not sure what you could mean. Remembering that this song was the 'pop' music of it's day, consider my colleague early music specialists, Evelyn Tubb and Barbara Bonney. Do you feel the same about their performances?

  • Oh and re-reading my own comment, i didn't mean it sounded effeminate, just gospel/soul like.

  • Terry, Just beautiful lovely song Hope everything is going well..

  • What a magnificent voice.....an angel come down from heaven.

Just such a wonderful listen....Thank you.

  • I'll have to admit this is amazingly beautiful! You can sing for me any day of the week! :-)
