Awsome video. I was about 4 or 5 when Airwolf first aired on UK TV.. loved it and still whistle the theme tune sometimes.. Airwolf and MacGyver are favourite shows of all time

Wow... what a great video! I am also an avid fan, as I still watch the series using my Netflix account's "Watch Instantly" feature. They have all four seasons on there to watch instantly in as good a quality as can be expected from such an old show. I have never seen some of these photos before. Ive read that there is a repro on display somewhere. The original one form the series does not exist anymore.

After the show ended it was sold to a german helicopter charter company and was used as air ambulance in Germany.

It crashed in a thunderstorm on June 6, 1992 after carrying a six year old girl from Berlin to a hospital in Cologne. Propably a engine failure due to a lightning hit. All three pilots were killed.

well we had to have a new kitt for the new generation the transam is a dead platform had it still been in production im sure they probably would have used it again in the old knight rider they went through several cars for stunts the transam was a affordable sports car at the time it wasnt just chosen for looks, second the mustang is easily the most affordable american sports car on the market now the corvete viper and camaro are all in the 80,000+ range,mustangs are far cheaper to wreck.

The best but most expensive Airwolf kits are made by Vario. Fuse is 6 feet in length and a good Zenoah or Solo engine will fly it just fine.

I must commend you on the detail that has gone into your RC version. Very very nice work. I want to get into rc heli's and build my own airwolf, any ideas which sites I can visit to buy things like rc heli's and airwolf bodykits.
