I'm sorry, but to all people who say these are classics - are you f***ing blind ?!? These are as pretty as a shoebox. They are copies of European cars from 5 years before that. I don't know a SINGLE japanese driving-box from the 80s that was good looking.

@8stewiegriffin Hey--if it's pretty once, it'll be pretty again. Styling aside, these lovelies are MUCH better-designed than any American or European vehicle of the same era. I've seen at least one example of each of these scuttling around town here with every last bit of them attached and working. They still look factory-fresh. Know why you never see a Porsche 944 or an old British Leyland or GM wedge? Because they all got junked five years later when the electrics went or the body had rotted.

@e199sigma You still see tons of VW Golfs, Peugeot 205, BMWs, Merks from 80s and early 90-s all across Europe. The main reason why you don't see even more of them is not because they brake down, but because in wealthy Europe it is considered uncool to drive an 18 - year old car just like it is uncool to wear a tie from the 80-s to your office even if it looks decent.

One more thing - the British Leyland efforts are as typical for Europe as Mongolian lifestyle is typical for every Asian... :)

I couldn't help but notice you didn't bring up any Italian marks, either--if you hadn't crossed ME, that might have worked in your favor, but now I can browbeat you over how much Italian cars suck . Sure, they tend to perform alright, but they rust like farm equipment and the electrics give up after about two weeks. You have the floor.

still have the skyline, Paul Newman's edition... my wife always stole the keys when I'm not around and drive it around town even though I gave her a Volvo C30i... I'm not worried if my wife is kidnapped but not the car. Getting and keeping it was a harder task then my wife... had 4 'kidnap' attempts of the car... all when she took it out to town...

I've owned the Starion and the Piazza (Impulse)...Starion was crap and blew head gaskets repeatedly and was fairly heavy, the Piazza on the other hand was a champ, solid motor took the abuse and the rear stepped out with a flick of the steering, no need to dip the clutch

lotus did the handling, for the car, like the suspension and front roll bars, they did this for a few isuzu cars, like the stylus

sorry dude but the piazza predated the corrado by at least 5yrs...was designed by Giugario for VW but they didnt like the design so Isuzu bought it instead, VW then came out with the scirroco

I love Starion and Trueno, but I hate all of those FWD Hondas, their engines sound like fucking lawn mowers and they ping like hell at high rpm. VVTi is way better than VTEC, because is there all the time, VTEC kicks in at high rpm. Dual VVTi is available for new Toyota models. What can Honda offer???

The reason Why Ya don't see A Starion Or a Conquest in the Drift event is because it's a secret!!! and these cars are much harder to mantaine then the AE86 Turno.... believe it!!!! StarQuest has more Power and handleding then AE86...not that 86 is no good but it is a great car to begin difting for beginner then other AWD cars!!! 86 is not the only dirft weapon!?...Starion or Conquest could also be and other cars if U master it!!!!
