Ok I fuk'n love both Metallica and Megadeth. They are the spearhead of metal. Metal bands (and metal fans) today do not understand the era in which metal was forged! Go listen to songs like "Back In The Day" ...theirs a reason why Dave wrote that song. Megadeth and Metallica are the very definition of metal. Yes you can expand your horizon and do metal how you feel it, but you can not change the foundation and still call it metal. Few bands today impress me enough for me to consider myself a fan

This isn't the 1980s anymore people, their not exactly the new kids on the block anymore. Its 2010 and both Megadeth & Metallica are thrash metal legends! Its just that Metallica made a move from thrash to more of a heavy rockish sound, while Megadeth stuck to thrash.
