The political correctness you refer to has to do with prejudicial stances, remarks and actions that are without merit, the one giggswannabe refers to is politicians acting in a way becoming of a politician. Keating's willingness to offend his own supporter base on principle is something Rudd and indeed Howard would dare not do.
