The heavy breathing makes it all the more panicky. I played this game like 2 years ago but watching this again made my balls go to my neck. Proof of how scary this shit is when your buddies show up and you feel so relieved that you're no longer alone. BTW this 1st FEAR game has the best enemy AI ever. The grunts are really smart in combat.

Can SOMEONE help me in finding a game that's more atmospheric mixed in with survival? I've also played that one Space horror game and Penumbra. Those didn't do it for me. And sadly, my computer can't run Amnesia. Can SOMEONE help me out here? I don't have a PS2 anymore or any other system for that matter, sold them for rent money. So PC, Preferably 2007 and Under.

I hope this game gets me scared...I've tried several games, Silent Hill, Doom Series, Resident Evil, Clive Barkers Undying, And that didn't do shit for me except make me jump, once or twice...The only game I /had/ to turn off because I was so freaked out was Fatal Frame II, :/ ...I'm more a Scenic person as oppose to continuous killing every 5 seconds. >< ETERNAL DARKNESS, That one wasn't entirely "Freak me the fuck out" but the "Sanity Meter" is what REALLY got me at some points in the night.

@TheDemondade Well, the whole idea about each scary situation is that the girl is injecting these images in your head, so the fire isnt real, so you cant get hurt by it. Also, dead space, and fear, are two different types of horror. So...chill?

@TheDemondade I guess it just depends how "scared" you get. Dead space wasnt that scary for me, it was more just an edgy atmosphere--not many jumps in the game. Fear tends to "make you think" somethng is going to jump out at you, so every second you are just inching down the hall.

QUESTION - I have a Buttkicker Gamer 2, and it's pretty sweet with this game, BUT, it picks up the friggin music in the game, and I get rumble when I don't need it, I went into the options, and set the music to off, and I can STILL hear music, and so I'm still getting unwanted rumble!!

is there any way to disable the music through some other method? maybe changing a config file, or just deleting the music file itself?

(I Can't find any audio files in the folder)
