My cousin is a beautiful woman, but she went her whole life wearing heavy foundation and such. Now it shows on her face, she has a bad complexion because of it. She still uses the same amount of make-up. This video was wonderful, and I appreciate the art of make-up, what I'm trying to say, is that the things we paint over with foundation, most can be healed with proper skin care. Care for your skin, and you'll feel too wonderful to bother with foundation.
correlation does not indicate causation. your cousin could have terrible skin for a variety of reasons. if you feel the need critique the amount of make-up an individual is wearing, you may need to quit watching make-up tutorials. .

My mom has worn makeup all her life and has flawless skin. Ive have been wearing makeup since I was about 14 I am now 25 and I have no problems with mine. Heavier foundation is sometimes needed for certain looks. Particulary the vintage styles of make-up. Also make-up for performance, film and photography does need to be a heavier type with good coverage. Obviously for day to day wear you would go a lighter wearing foundation.
You mentioned bleaching your eyebrows. I'm curious to know what the benefits of this are, and how to do it exactly, as I've often wanted to lighten my brows.

i really liked the eyes, but i think this look would look a lot more natural and pretty without all the foundation and powder. you have really nice skin, so i don't understand why you hide that under all that paint.

@MRose194 DO NOT bleach your eyebrows by yourself it should be done by a professional in a salon. If you use the product wrong and get it in your eye it can be very dangerous.
but I think this look only works for people who have her eyes...like sunken on top with easily seen brow bone...and her almond eyes point upwards...If u don't have the sunken part this rly doesn't work....I have typical asian eye so yeah...n_n
Ok, I have to say that you are a really beautiful girl; but you don't need to apply SO much makeup. It's really heavy makeup and I think it's good for runways and the fashion world but for everyday wear it's strange.

@MRose194 DO NOT bleach your eyebrows by yourself it should be done by a professional in a salon. If you use the product wrong and get it in your eye it can be very dangerous.

but I think this look only works for people who have her eyes...like sunken on top with easily seen brow bone...and her almond eyes point upwards...If u don't have the sunken part this rly doesn't work....I have typical asian eye so yeah...n_n

Ok, I have to say that you are a really beautiful girl; but you don't need to apply SO much makeup. It's really heavy makeup and I think it's good for runways and the fashion world but for everyday wear it's strange.

Both Nic and I are make-up artists. We create looks as we would for a photographic shoot.
We DON'T apply so much make-up because we need to or have low self esteem. Nic is well aware that she looks good without it.
