If you go to Stkicked's channel, you'll see that when people tried to snap in any character because they believed it was the "problem", he showed that he could beat everyone with any character he uses. In this case, it isn't the characters, it's the player.

Combofiend's setup is a 3 layer threat. Nova and Spencer both fit his style. You never really notice Nova's achievements because he dies in almost all of Combofiend's games but his contributions are primarily that he WRECKS the opponent's teams by killing their starters. Once team synergy is gone, Spencer acts as a reserve while Hawkeye is for Level 3 X factor. He planned it all out.

Other than that easily the top 3 in america right now.

@BattleMania Balrog will become better than Chris G ... just give him some time. Wong is better than Chris G. Masta CJ has gotten very good very fast. Expect him to become a top contender in the future. Marlin Pie is all offence and no defense ... he can be exposed, but only with fast teams. Clockwork is a beast but heavily relies on his Strider as anchor. ... I also forgot Yipes but Yipes has his good days and his bad days. Quite honestly, there's so many players now.

JWong is more skilled than G but with his team he can't compete. He needs to get rid of storm because I think she's the weakest link at times. Pie is a monster but you are right. Clock work will improve. Yipes kinda sucks at Ultimate. Viscant will get better eventually. Combofiend will be always be # 1.
