Yes it is, select the bone you want to restric and then go to properties theres an option to enable rotation or disable it, just check enable and check constrain, there's Min and Max options to adjust your angle!

how for christs sake do i import a photoshop file
based on a picture in flash to use the bone tool on it.

Is there a way to define an angle for a joining point so that lets say, the the albow want go -90%. I hope you understend what i'm asking

hi ~ this is a great help. to move the jointing section of an armature point, use the subselect tool (white arrow) ... I just discovered this!
