Try suffering with chronic pain(destruction to L1234)after years of addiction to street heroin.All I hear about is that they can't do this and they can't do that cause of my addiction issues.Screw my addiction issues,I haven't been able to get high for over 10 years.I just want to be able to go to the store without crawling back barely able to breathe because of the pain.I know after 40 years what works but I may as well be talking to the wall.Why won't they listen?The system is broken.

@ghdcanada In Canada if you get hurt on the job, the government takes away your medical and legal rights. The workers comp boards then torture a person to death. How? By withholdng medical care, slander, fraud that denies financial assistance, and no one will help. I am a chronic pain sufferer for the last 32 years. Many times I have almost died from depression and pain. Tortured by not receiving any medical care, lied about, forced into poverty, the patients commit suicide usually.

Thank God you're getting help!! Many suffer needlessly. I feel about opiates for Chronic pain sufferers the way i feel about justice. I'd rather have a 1000 guilty men go free than one innocent man be in prison! I'd rather have a 1000 people who lie about it get the meds just so that one person honestly in pain can get the treatment they need.

Holy smokes. I deal with intense chronic pain. I've been blessed with the ability to still hold an independant life, and hold down a part time job. But the pain... emotional, mental, physical... I respect that you've put up with so much.
