  • "Tea Party" is a Big Lie. It's not the simple 1700s. We now have millions of life-saving water-food-air-safety, police, military, etc. provided by "big government" (We The People). During the real Tea Party there were no freeways, bridges nor school that allow real tax-paying patriots to work & contribute to the superior progress this nation has. I've never whined about paying taxes as without regulations many of us wouldn't be here. Due to Cheney's deregulations the Gulf is an oil pool."

  • my mother was here

  • I really like Chip Rogers. I am so glad that he is bringing up how our country came about.

  • I dare you to try and actually discuss an issue instead of just name-calling.

    Really, go ahead.

  • It sad that a little rain keeps the rabid Fox fans away from a tea bagging event

  • @fieroyates How'd my fuckin' nuts taste?

  • A very small number of taxpayers -- the 10% of the country that makes more than $92,400 a year -- pay 72.4% of the nation's total income taxes.

In 2001, 43 million Americans, who earn less than $30,500, made 13.5% of the nation's income but paid no income tax. Instead, they received checks from their taxpaying neighbors worth $16.3 billion. By 2005, those checks totaled $33.3 billion.

The less you make - the more you make!!!

  • @FreeAgain2

That's because the 10% that makes 92k+ a year still are a larger group in monetary terms than the sub 30k group. If you figure that 30 million makes 92k, then you would need to tax 100million people making 30k a year, except you can't because there aren't that many people making that amount. Essentially it's more cost effective- besides, if you're making 92k a year, even if you lose half of it you still would make more than the poor sods who make only 30k wouldn't you?

  • @FreeAgain2

Also just a heads up, the people below 35k a year totals 40%+ of the income of the United States

  • That's why I have left the Republicrat Duality Party and have gone indipendent. Neither party represents my values any more. They are equally worthless.

  • Same here, I don't trust the Dem or the Rep. And now I'm independent.

  • Stoners pay taxes too!!!

I will be there april 15 you better believe it

  • Thanks for the video! I want to go to the next tea party!!!

  • Great video! ;-) My representative is Jim Marshall.... Booooooo

  • I was at the protest yesterday, and was very impressed by the turnout. The weather was awful, but the steps were packed and passing drivers were honking and waving. I'm looking forward to the next event.

  • Good Work!

  • That's why I was at the Tea Party also, and glad to be in the 21st District of Georgia represented by Chip Rogers...let's keep it going, y'all...
