  • Aaargh! How tacky!!!

  • What a clever interpretation of the song!

  • Who'd ever though Genesis would stoop to holiday camp tactics...throws up..

  • All you people who hate RW so much should go ahead and try to sing the songs better. The man had the guts to try and fill some pretty big shoes, and then all of you "musical" people have to go and judge him. Respect to Ray for taking a risk and trying instead of being a cowardly armchair critic.

  • nice touch with the crowd, trying to do a Bono! lol

  • Why do people hate Ray? The dude was a kid here, and singing for the best Prog band ever.

  • VOMITS

  • Ray is awesome.

  • ???????? шо за shit ??

  • ????????

  • i clicked on this video, then threw up a little bit in my mouth.

  • He did alright. Not the original, but does it matter? Enjoy the music! That is what counts. What does he bring to the microphone?

  • RAY IS OKAY BUT: RAY and GENESIS WAS A BIG MISTAKE!

  • Thank God, Phil saved Genesis history, when they reunited 2006.

  • Thank God Phil returned again in 2007! LOL. This is a strangely flat performance, due to the lack of power of Ray's voice, although he is good with that bloody harmonica.

  • @GOLLYSKYWOOD2 agree, this songs belongs to phil and nobody else

  • Fuck, Fat Ray always thought it was cool to go into the crowd, it wasn't. And next he does his cabaret special "let's get one of you fans on stage to mix with t' stars". What a clueless buffoon.

  • Mike is thinking "If I push him off the stage, can I get away with it?"

  • Loser!!!

  • Not bad at all, but it's not Phil

  • Gabriel was the best

    Collins is brillant

    And this singers... sucks !

  • What a shit song to end the concert with...since when does "genesis" bring audience members on stage?... TO DANCE? It's like a bad version of Springsteen's "dancing in the dark" video! WTF!

  • @hubiex I thought "The Dividing Line" was the proper climax of the concert, with this song (and the preceding three) as an encore.

  • @hubiex What´s wrong about inviting audience members on stage during this song? It´s funny and it´s cute. -And it´s a whole lot more entertaining than Phil´s -slightly embarrasing- intros to Home by the sea + Domino.

  • Makes me feel ashamed of ever having been a Genesis fan! What is this shit?

  • ray is fantastic, biggest respect. no clue why they fired him. (musically, I mean.) he should've had much more time with the band, being able to establish the "wilson era" of genesis. good job, ray. (wilson, collins, gabriel singer? i like all of them.)

btw, this girl, samantha, is having the time of her live, isn't she? :-D

    @russ13b:

lol, nice comment - wow, what an intriguing idea, PG singing "i cant dance"... :-)

  • ray's good, really good. But, he's in the unfortunate position of having to sing something written around Phil Collins. And there's only one guy who can do that....

    Peter Gabriel.

  • The hydraulic obelisk lights is a nice complement to the see-through stage floor but still this does not help make this song bearable...even with Phil this song sucks.

  • I like Ray's voice in general and it's a nice change from Phil's thin voice, but please stay on pitch! Listenting to this is painful compared to past Genesis glory.

  • i'm not gonna say this guy sings bad, but this doesn't work. really bad.

  • This singer sucks!!!!!!! Phil Collins is so much better.

  • phil collins is better... but Ray Wilson not sucks.. ¬¬

  • See...Genesis ARE cool

  • Has anyone here met Ray Wilson? He seems like a cool guy :)

  • unbelieveable garbage my ass!

  • ray is singing very well , what do you want ? a photocopy of phil? this is ridiculous. are you real genesis fans with good taste or what???

  • @amirhamra he is a good singer.and photocopy of the great Phil in any respect is impossible

  • Heaven, SHE can't dance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is ok but I think it better when they done it with Phil

  • i was there..:) i saw me on this film :)

  • Very tacky.

  • Not good at all. Add that to my list of list of songs they should NOT have performed this tour. Ray doesn't sound right at all on this song- but have to give credit for inviting the girl on stage- very cool of him.

  • to some extent, I agree. it would suit me if they didnt do ANY Phil songs!

  • Ray gets a lot of crap (like Phil does by Peter Gabriel fans) he isn't actually bad-I really love Calling All Stations and his renditions of old songs. Sure he doesn't sound right on a few of them, but he isn't bad.

I really enjoyed this, he did a great job-my only problem with him is he didn't say "fuck" in Invisible Touch...

  • Embarrassing... I cannot believe that Mike and Tony would allow this. What is it? A school comedy? Also, the song's all too Collins'ish for Ray. The screw-up at around 05:08 doesn't help. Rest of the show was decent, though - considering this is Mike + The Mechanics, mach 2.

  • lucky lady :]

  • Just goes to show, an audience interested in seeing a great show will probably get one, because the vibe they create allows it to happen. idiotic audiences like those in the UK get usually get what they deserve.

  • I have to agree there! Look at Argentinian audiences, they go wild!

  • Ray Wilson is at sub-cabaret level.

  • Ray just proved he can be a hell of a frontman right here. I can't help but smile when I watch this. Great stuff.

  • Fantastic Ray :-) !!!
