  • Nice video, very interesting! More power.

  • Thank you so much for the information. My parents are currently going through a divorce and i'll be sure to hint a collaborative divorce for them. I'm sure we will all benefit from it as going to court is very expensive and stressful.

  • I find it absolutely amazing that Hollywood has so much influence that the divorces

that celebrities are becoming popular. Although in this case it sounds like the influence

can do alot of good. You are still getting the benifits of legal advise and help , but

you can hopefully avoid the unpleasant and lengthy court process

  • Its true that whats popular in Hollywood often becomes popular across the country (which can be good or bad)! It would be great if the collaborative divorce process could be applied in all cases. This would prevent a plethora of problems couples have to be dragged through during divorce and the after-effects of divorce. Collaborative divorce would make life so much easier for the kids now and later on in their lives. Avoiding court would be a good option in many cases.

  • Again,I'd have to say this collaborative divorce is a great alternative to a long and nasty, drawn out case in court. I have a feeling that eventually this will be commonplace. This will save taxpayers,as well as the court systems, money and time.I hope the word gets out and more divorcing couples go this route.

  • My parents went through something very much like a collaborative divorce. It was so much better than anything we could have expected. I appreciate the fact that Mr. Rosen is trying to bring this type of divorce to the forefront. The fact that both parties have to stay out of court seems like a great situation.

  • Again, I feel that collaborative divorce would help so many couples that are going through this painful time if they only knew about it. I hope you get the word out to more people because it is certainly in the child's best interest. I added this to my Favorites. Thanks for the information!

  • The way lee has explained this new concept of 'Collaborative Divorce' in highly detailed manner. The video is very helpful for those who had a misfortune for divorce .The video is good in terms of factual examples , explaining both sides of the coin in a interesting manner. All the phases right from start to end are explained very well.

    Good Job Lee!!

  • I've heard of collaborative divorce, but it sounds like a good idea. While I hope I never have to go through a divorce, I think this sounds like the way to go. An open environment such as this would be very helpful during a tough time like that. It is also nice that it is focused on a civil relationship. Any way to avoid court and save money is also a plus. Thanks for the information!

  • This has to be the most detailed informative web commentary I have seen in a very long time. I was intrigued by the info and will unfortunately be able to put it too use one day. The "Collaborative Divorce" is an option that most couples are alternative options than disruptive divorces that just lead to couples being vindictive and vicious. Thanks again for the great info I'm passing it on!

  • I agree with the other comments, this video is very detailed and I think I learned a lot. I also thought you got a great actor.

  • I didn't realize there were different options for divorce rather than going to court. Collaborative divorce sounds like more of a strength based approach to breaking an agreement between two people, rather than focusing on negativity and creating a stressful environment. It's reassuring to know that there are lawyers trained in collaborative divorce and creating an open space for communication. The video was great in explaining what collaborative divorce is. Very helpful!

  • I've been through multiple divorces and I have never heard of anything such as "Collaborative Divorce". I really wish I had seen this video before my last one! This is really eye opening and I had no idea that a husband and a wife could just get together and and make sure that everything works out without going to court. Thanks for the video Dr. Rosen, I'll continue to watch your videos for more tips!

  • I had never even heard of collaborative divorce before. It sounds much better then any way of divorce I have ever heard of before. Really interesting thanks!

  • I think this is a much better way to handle divorce--it allows the couple to still remain civil, and the children are protected. This is a good trend from Hollywood, who would have thought that could have happened? Keeping it out of the court system seems like a far better idea. Thanks for this helpful information!

  • Divorce is a painful process. Both the party suffer in this. Collaborative divorce no only will reduce the pain but it will also speed up the proceding. A very good and helpful video.

  • I liked the fact that this video was so informative about collabrative divorce. I was really wondering exactly what it was in the movie Juno. This gives an amazing definition to the phrase that I had heard so much about. I never knew that this was popular in hollywood. As this video says, it will be popular across the country soon. I really enjoyed the information that was presented.

  • I liked the fact that this video was so informative about collabrative divorce. I was really wondering exactly what it was in the movie Juno. This gives an amazing definition to the phrase that I had heard so much about.

  • Very informative. I always thought of divorce as messy, long, drawn out break ups. I never knew that divorce came with options such as this. This is a route that more people need to look into going. Especially when children are involved. This option can prevent children from growing to dislike one parent. Great piece.

  • Awesome video, I had no idea so many stars had collaborative divorces. I usually thought of angry, vicious, and all and all ending in hate when I thought of a divorce. You really annunciate every word which is really nice for a viewer like me. Ill remember this incase im ever in a divorce.

  • Very clear and detailed video. I didn't know there was an alternative method which you described here well. Thank you for sharing.

  • Divorce can get extremely messy and stressful. It is wonderful that collaborative divorce exists as an alternative to prevent agonizing court situations. I feel it is a pleasant way to go about divorce, that is less upsetting to each party. It is great that collaborative divorce lawyers take the time to ensure that both parties are aware of the specific legal issues.

  • After watching this video, i learned a lot about "Collaborative divorce". I had never heard of such a thing before, and this topic really peaks my interest. Its great, now that a couple wont have to go through all the hassle then before. Thanks for the info!

  • Wow Ihave never heard of "Collaborative Divorce" befor but it seam like a great new option. It is something worth looking into.

  • This sounds like a more pleasant way to divorce instead of all the fighting. If it's a mutual divorce this just might work. Divorce is never fun but if it can be less stressful for all involved I'm all for it. I will pass this info on the friends considering divorce. Thank you for this informative video.

  • This is just one more wonderful resource. Im glad that there is a polite and kind way to go through a divorce, however I would suggest that any couple that has this kind of love and affection for their spouse, should attempt to get marriage counseling before deciding to leave the marriage. If differences cant be worked out than this sounds like the ideal way to pursue a divorce. If I ever go through a divorce, I hope that it will be a collaborative divorce.

  • I recently saw Robin Williams' stand-up in PA, and he described his experience with divorce in an interesting manner: he said they were trying to go through it the same way they got married - with love. Your description of collaborative divorce reflects this same concept. Thanks for all the great details. Divorce is unpleasant, but it's good to know that there is a movement to making it more civil.

  • That is a wonderful idea! The idea of hiring collaborative divorce lawyers to settle divorce cases seems better than the idea of settling divorces in court because it costs less money and the intrusions of lawyers in your personal affairs are much less. I am grateful to be able to hear Mr. Rosen speak on one of the most important issues that the people in our society faces. Thank you for posting this video.

  • Great information. I did not know there were so many different ways to resolve a divorce outside of court. The collaborative divorce concept sounds like it is going to become more popular in the coming years. I was surprised to learn how many different experts and specialists can become involved in a collaborative divorce.

  • Really informative, thanks!

  • This really cleared up a lot of questions I had about the process. Thanks!
